Chinese border town next to Myamar, civil war fighting next door in Myamar make people unable to sleep at night

Puppets of the Burmese government, the biggest umbrella for telecom fraud companies, and the main culprits in the Crouching Tiger Hill incident, the Ming family. Its army has been completely annihilated by the Kokang Allied Army. All members of the Ming family have been arrested and transported to China to stand trial. The head of the Ming family, Ming Guochang, committed suicide.
Anyone who dares to commit large-scale telecoms fraud in Mandarin-speaking circles is only going to die, even if they are protected by the military.

Feel sad for these village people. They obviously deserve better.

CCP should simply claim the “troublesome” Myanmar territory by presenting an authentic 2000 year old map and then integrate it into CCP. Once the CCP peace is achieved, these village people will finally get some sleep.

It’s a win win situation for all.

Why do we want a land that has no resources whatsoever but countless poor people? What does it bring us, apart from the fact that it costs our coffers to alleviate poverty?

We do not want land, we just want to punish criminals. All criminals who dare to commit large-scale fraud in the Chinese-speaking world, including the warlords and Burmese government troops who harbour these criminals, they must all receive the death penalty.

Of course, I know Indians will sympathise with these telecom fraud criminals and empathise with them for that. Don't worry, don't be afraid, we are not interested in telecom fraud criminals in the Anglosphere. You can carry on with your work, just don't use Chinese for this.

I read information about this, I think the Chinese authorities had enough. They just eliminated all the major fractions. Apparently there were 4 major crime families/sydicates - Ming syndicate, Bai family, Wei and Liu syndicates.
What I read is that Ming family members have been captured, leader committed suicide. The Bai family leader was killed, the other 2 groups surrendered. Now I don't have much verification of this news, unless obviously we hear from Chinese posters here. It's like wiping off the entire Mexican drug cartels.

No need for any 2000 year old map as the area is still claimed by RoC on Taiwan. PRC on the other hand has already settled the border with Myanmar.

China Rounds Up 31,000 Suspects in Sweeping ‘Pig-Butchering’ Crackdown

Beijing is trying to stamp out online scams run from lawless enclaves across its border

For months, China has tried to break up cybercrime syndicates that operate from shadowy compounds across the border in neighboring countries and swindle people around the world.
The scammers call the fraud “pig-butchering”: They “fatten” victims by gaining their trust online, convince them to transfer large sums of money and then “butcher” them by absconding with the loot.
The scale of Beijing’s crackdown is now becoming clear.
Some 31,000 suspects have been rounded up in Myanmar—a notorious hub for such crimes—and handed to Chinese authorities since September, China’s Ministry of Public Security said this week. Several “fraud dens” were eradicated, dealing a severe blow to the networks, the ministry said.
Many of the suspects were swept up in raids in Myanmar’s border territories controlled by rebel armies, warlords and narcotics traffickers, rather than the Southeast Asian nation’s military junta. These enclaves have long been magnets for Chinese criminals due to their weak law enforcement and the scamming operations are largely run by Chinese fugitives. The Chinese language and currency are common along the border, making it easy for Chinese nationals to blend in.
The criminals turned to such scams during the Covid-19 pandemic, when people were spending more time online. Their armies of swindlers use smartphones and laptops to befriend strangers around the world, including in China and the U.S. They sometimes feign romance, then dupe their victims into making bogus investments.
In recent months, Beijing has signaled it wants to stamp out the scammers. Law-enforcement officials from across southwest China are collaborating with both Myanmar’s junta and the various armed groups that lord over disparate territories in the country to hunt down Chinese suspects and send them back across the border.
These efforts have also aggravated conflict between the Myanmar military and the rebel groups as they race to appease China—whose economic and military support is crucial to both.
The raids have swept up thousands of low-level suspects, but China said it is also netting high-value targets. That includes 63 alleged financiers and ringleaders, as well as 1,531 fugitives, it said.
China’s Ministry of Public Security highlighted a significant breakthrough in mid-November, when three alleged ringleaders were arrested in an area in northeast Myanmar called the Kokang Self-Administered Zone. The suspects, Ming Guoping, Ming Julan, and Ming Zhenzhen, were all wanted by Chinese law enforcement, the ministry said.
A fourth suspect, Ming Xuechang, shot himself before he could be caught and later died, according to Myanmar’s junta-controlled media.
Security analysts say most of the tens of thousands of people detained in the crackdown likely played lesser roles. Many who work in the scam mills are themselves victims of human trafficking, some from countries as far afield as Brazil. They are lured by fake jobs and trapped inside secretive compounds where they are forced to work as scammers, sometimes under threat of violence, according to the United Nations human-rights office.

Lol, Chinese are not delusional, hubris and greedy as you Indian fools that want to claim the disgusted dream of greater British Empire in South Asia and Asia as your shithole country's inheritance.

a number of people from Myanmar did indeed move to India. I know some of them

Good for you, they should go to super developed and rich India. not poverty stricken, starving China.
they moved to India in the 1940s I think - there was some fear of somebody (Brits ? Japs I dunno) bombing Rangoon and many of the people scrambled on to ships and ended up in South India

In case you didn't know, the strongest armed force inside Burma is not the Burmese government army. Rather, it is the United Wa State Army in northern Myanmar.

Now just the Kokang alliance army striking has completely crushed the northern corps of the Myanmar government army, and even the United Wa State Army has not yet been deployed. If the armies of the various autonomous states in the north of Myanmar were to jointly move south, they could easily occupy the whole of Myanmar.

btw: China recognises the northern states of Burma as Burmese territory, so this is a Burmese civil war. Also, we welcome any country to include China in their territory. Of course, they would then need to accept a legitimate civil war at the same time.
