Afghanistan had 2 contingents, 1 from Taliban (as in within Afghanistan, all male contingent). Another from Afghanistan diaspora internationally which also includes women.

PS., those who haven't seen the opening ceremony, do watch it. IMO, this was the greatest opening ceremony of any type of sporting event.

I have no idea, I just said what has been reported. In any case, I don't think Taliban is no position to dictate international decisions.

Usually home sides have advantage in such games, but looks like China is too strong this time. That lead looks too big already.
