Pakistan to develop chip manufacturing sector with help of China

Pakistanis don't need you Indian fools' constant advice, they are fully capable of judging what are good for them.
10 years of CPEC ===> Pakistan near bankrupt, no $ to pay for military gas, can't pay even interest
CPEC = Crush Pakistan Expand China

Pakistanis are just beginning to realize how CCP govt of China royally screwed them

From fools mouths that want nothing but failing of CPEC.

Baby. In the Semiconductor industry. India and Pakistan are at the same level. India's Semiconductor industry is no better than Pakistan's. Okay?

Indians need to understand one thing. Even if China build chip factories in India. India still cannot steal Chinese technology.

1. India does not have semiconductor R&D.

2. India lacks all necessary industrial foundations. India never even make any advanced semiconductor materials.

3. India does not have any semiconductor talents...

The most important aspects of semiconductors are talent and R&D. These things do not exist in India. Unfortunately. Indian semiconductors are not leading Pakistan.

@hari sud Please do not believe that India is ahead of Pakistan in any aspect. This is ridiculous.

Every company Intel, Qualcomm, Broadcom, Nvidia, Cadence, Synopsys, Applied Materials, KLA Tencor has thousands of Indian engineers toiling away in some aspect of engineering phase of the business

Pajeets, if this is bound to fail as you claim, then why are you guys acting so salty?

I would expect that Pakistan would start with making basic designs for simple devices & applications. Nothing too advanced. Chinese companies may also offshore basic but time consuming tasks.

This is perfectly doable for Pakistan at the moment with some effort. Anything above this would of course require a lot more investment & focus.

bro you must understand the difference between CEO and technical talents!

Who the hell wants Chinese chip making technology?. First they have to have the technology. It is one million times more difficult than potato chip making.

I don't know that it makes any sense for Indians to slander others.... remember! If there is no Chinese technology. Indians don't even know how to make cameras!

The operative phrase is "Apple to help Chinese firm"
“Leading Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said the US iPhone manufacturer is expected to help Chinese company Luxshare set up production line in India, and Luxshare will benefit from the growth of the Indian market and supply chain in the coming years. He also said that Luxshare has got the new production introduction (NPI) for the high-end iPhone 16 model (Pro Max) while Foxconn did not.”
………………………………………………………………………………………

Just Apple giving the order to Luxshare. Maybe Apple will provide the supply chain to Luxshare. Then Luxshare produces in India.

Our only issue is that it passes through Gilgit Baltistan which is a disputed territory claimed by India as its own. Other that we wish you guys a thousand more CPECs let us burn in jealousy :D.

If I was a pakistani, I would say this because its basically giving them you debt to spend that money on chinese firms which sends money to their economy and it ends up being you paying a hefty amount for imported infra in one hand with a debt on the other hand and stuff adding little in value to pakistan.

But I as an Indian would want a hundred more CPECs, may china be more meherbaan on you guys!

You lost bud. Your ministers are wary of a two front war. China and Pakistan have checkmated Indian desire to capture Pakistani Kashmir.

Given your exports are declining, it seems some dreams are gonna remain dreams.

This racist Turk is your best friend, isn't he?

The Chinese already have chip tech. Perhaps not as advanced as the US. That is only a matter of time.

China is now producing electric cars. China doesn't care about smartphones.

These Hindutva niggas are butthurt. They along with their American masters beg Pakistan 24/7 to abandon China LOL

Apparently Chinese investment is terribly bad for Pakistan.

Chip manufacturing fabs, guzzle up water and pollute the environment heavily. Something that has to be taken into account as well.

Jeez. What a terrible thing for Pakistan. Please Pakistan, don't produce any chips... You will waste water and pollute the environment.

In the long list BS pie in the sky plans from the house of Sharifs and their srpoy handlers, remember their bullet traits fron the 90's.
