What's new

Pakistan must provide support to its true allies in Afghanistan: Dr Latif Pedram and Tajiks.

These Afghans will lie through their teeth to your face lmao

Man literally repeated the characteristic of his own ethnicity and put the blame on Tajiks 🤡🤣

Lar o Bar is a Pashtun movement that is anti-Pakistan. Only brainwashed ghulaami Tajiks follow such.

Once the Tajiks see the truth which they are beginning to - a natural alliance will form with common political interests. Doesn't matter if they think of us as apes.

At times even an ape and a human can co-operate when goals align!
Someone should write a book that explains the politics of this very carefully and its cultural and historical basis. Pakhtun ethnonationalists and lar aur barists tend to take the general naivety of Pakistanis as a way to lie and manipulate their way into fooling the general population. The Pakistani establishment and media has kept this conflict covert and paid no public attention to it, the masses are simply unaware to the intricacies.

The tribalistic, hooliganisic and cultural hatred/racism tendencies are much stronger in Afghan Pakhtun populations for obvious reasons - historical culturally baggage of racism passed down, and the extremely predominant lar aur barist ideology. Historically they are brutes as seen by passed waged insurgencies and would likely launch mass suicide bombing campagins in Pakistan if felt emboldened - this is a serious threat.

Tajiks tend to be far more progressive, hence exhibit less personal racism, and lar aur barism is much less common as obviously they are not Pakhtun, after exhibiting racial injustice I doubt they want to more than double the Pakhtun population in Afghanistan!

But the ground reality today is way different then it was in 70s and 80s.
The socio-economic gap have widened so much across the border. Its becoming a north korea/south korea situation on a smaller scale.
I know a lot of non-lar wa bar Afghans also who have suffered so much in wars and work menial labor jobs in Gulf. Who are sick of Afghan leaders because they have actually lost loved ones in these wars.
All they care about is surviving.

Pakistani Pashtuuns on the other hand have very different mentality. Even the labors. They have properties in Pak. Families thriving, Children studying in universities, Relatives living across Pakistan, doing business in all provinces. They have a life and prospect. Even the poor ones view of life is not a bleek as Afghans.

They have no shared thing other then Pashto Language. Which doesnt mean a thing. We share same language with the majority of Indians..Yet we cant stand each other for a single comment most of the time
Over 90% of Afghan Pashtuns are staunch Lar O Barists you've seen a minority.

And secondly your assumption about shared things is a little inaccurate, they share many things from general culture, ethnicity, language, religion. They are not all too different and realistically 75 years is far too little to change much, they do tend to feel sympathy towards the other.

So I would say there is some exaggeration here.

Pashtunwali and language unites them strongly, also strong sense of historical pride.

Slight linguistic and cultural differences however based on tribal affiliations but the above overwhelms that.

If you weren't semi literate you probably wouldn't suffer from half these problems.

Where did I say there wouldn't be hardship?? You pulled that out of your own ***.

The context in which my comment was made is clear to anyone who read the previous posts - it was linked to the idea of Pakistan "collapsing" or "falling apart".
lolz Trying to look cool by talking shi* tells a lot about your literacy.
what are you 16?

Brothers, please can we put aside the petty arguments and leave that for another time. I think we can confidently agree that there a bigger more important things to discuss, this luxury is not available yet 🙂🙂🙂🙂

There is always time of happy sh**flinging even in the face of apocalypse now a days.
Too much estrogen flotaing around in men these days due to too much processed food consumption and social media.

Just like Lahore now has nothing to do with Amritsar Jalandhar Pathankot etc despite having centuries long relations.

People of Pakistani and Indian Punjab may be similar culturally, linguistically, ethnically etc but they follow different religions, and they have a lot of bad blood between them, they carry considerable historical baggage. While they may speak at times with some historic nostalgia of the 'land of their forefathers' on the other side, there's no love lost between the people, it's just the land, and for Sikhs the land of Pakistani Punjab has religious significance as well.

Durand line is a different story altogether. Afghan Pashtuns and Pakistani Pashtuns are virtually the same people living in 2 different countries.

No, one are Pakistanis and the other are Afghans. There is a difference. Just like there is a difference between Pakistani Punjabis and Indian Punjabis.

People living in FATA are Afghans larping as Pakistanis. The entire area has been taken over by Afghans who have crossed over with fake documents or no documents. They do not represent the sentiments of Pakistani Pashtuns.

He is speaking culturally, and linguistically - essentially in terms of characteristics

You don't "mind your business" when there is a violent dog about to break loose from a weak chain and you are the first target.

It is about self-interest before being anyone's saviour.

We are minding our own business when it comes to India. We even released a filthy Indian who was bombing us instead of killing him. Or at least release him in exchange for few of our prisoners released.

Stop meddling in Afghanistan and Afghanistan will stop meddling.

The thing is Pakistan is so used to having low opinion of Pashtuns that they think just like Pashtuns were bombed and killed mercilessly post 9/11 and they didn’t pose a big problem in response, we can do the same to Afghanis. But the difference is KPK Pashtuns are Pakistanis and extremely patriotic.

Afghanistan is a separate country who has been the graveyard of empires. Pakistan can’t interfere in Afghanistan and expect they will lay down like KPK Pashtuns did. They’re built different.

Pakistan fears India and has stopped meddling in their affairs. One day Pakistan will fear Afghanistan too but by then it will be too ficking late and Pakistan will be burning with terrorism and another 71 like situation.

The racists in this thread bashing Pashtun ethnicity are proof of how clueless they are. Pashtuns don’t even make half of Afghanistan. And Tajiks, Uzbek are even more vicious than Pashtuns.

Just like a Pakistani will unite against anyone meddling in their country so does Afghanistan and our country is a baby compared to the history of theirs.

So yeah we are paying the price of two wars we didn’t need to fight. Stop being saviours and start minding our own business.

Pakistan should start reproachment drive with groups like hazara, Uzbeks and Tajiks. They are more likely to live in peace free of racial hatred.

Don't turn this into a self-victimisation thread about Pashtuns

Had Afghanistan not constantly meddled in our internal affairs, and continue to do so, your suggestion would make sense.

Afghanistan has been and is a threat which is the only reason for said interference, anything more is you coping.

Stop meddling in Afghanistan and Afghanistan will stop meddling.
Change Afghanistan to Pakistan and then preach this to Afghans, not Pakistanis.

The Afghan pashtuns are unreliable and untrustworthy. Taliban is a failed experiment.

Pakistan should build ties with other groups like these and minimize the space Iran and India have.
Unfortunately, we have some afghans among out Pashtuns population which prevents us from pissing off Afghan Pashtuns by supporting tajiks etc.

@Bleek

We tried our best with afghans

We had more pashtuns In Pakistan then Afghanistan could every had and all they did was try to scew us every single time, bomb blasts, disrespectful of our borders and sovereignty

Beyond basic trade,.we need to continue to work with anyone willing to defend our strategic interests

Hazaras, Tajiks, Uzbeks they have all had enough and so have we
