Iranian Nuclear Technology and Industry (technical only... non-political)

Cesium-137 radionuclide now produced in Iran:-)

  • Cesium-137 is used for multiple medical, industrial purposes, and also for radiating blood products, cosmetics, food, and other products.
  • C-137 is produced by exposing suitable target materials to the neutron flux in a nuclear reactor for an appropriate time.
  • With a half-life of 30 years, Cesium-137 radionuclide does not exist naturally and is mainly found in used nuclear fuel and radioactive waste.

Iran's 60% Uranium Production Rate: As reported by IAEA:

Feb 2023: 87.5 Kg
May 2023: 114 kg
Sept 2023: 121.6 kg

It appears that the production has dropped from 8.8 kg /month to only 2.5 kg/month.

There has been no technical reason reported for this reduction and therefore the only explanation will be that Iran has made nuclear concession for the release of the forzen funds. @HGV

72% decrease in rate of production of 60% enriched uranium!

I agree - as I shared many weeks ago, the only possible explanation is that this is a concession to the USA before the USA's election.

We produce the 60% as much as needed, not as much as possible!

We produce the 60% as much as needed, not as much as possible!
Then question becomes why enrich to 60% at all...power generation does not require such enrichment...so simple question remains why did we enrich to 60% and why reduce enrichment at the time when we are increasing yellow cake production as reported in the previous pages here....

If reduction is to release funds it is actually a good plan in my opinion we keep machine and personnel active while funds are becoming free..but why hide it..it is better to be up-front with Iranian public so you will build trust

Sorry I am going into politics and off topic for this thread.

Still infinitely preferable to returning to the jcpoa [imho].

60% is for nuclear propulsion which we are working on for sure, but if that engine isn't ready, then there is no point to rush.

reaching 60% uranium at this point was more a political goal to demonstrate our might and the ineffectiveness of sanctions to maximum pressure fans, but this game is done, our focus should be 5% enrichment. the fact that today they no longer talk about the amount of 5% enrichment is a victory.

Whatever it is, it's definitely neither "treason" as one user tried to pass it off as, nor comparable with the stringent conditions imposed upon Iran by the thankfully defunct JCPOA, legacy of liberal western-apologists. Iran is emancipated from the clutches of those submissive, counter-revolutionary defeatists as of now. Hopefully their next stop will be the trash can of history, where they can keep company to their beloved ousted monarchy.

a question how much 60% uranium we need
we produce it as a bargaining tool in nuclear discussion as usa use sanctions as bargaining tool in those discussion .
unless we produce nuclear ships or submarines we literally have no real need for use in industry or military but we need it for political points

you don't need the uranium until you build the system

the more energy a civilization has, the more it develops

You must expect the worse, considering who you dealing with. Without the bomb, your negotiation power is limited because those you're facing already have the bomb, many of them, you don't.
Without the bomb, you will have to make more concession to include missiles. You're still firing up small diameter under power SLVs. After so many years, you finally managed to put 24kg-sat on LEO. This will be all you can do. Let's hope you haven't conceded the range of your missiles to 300km, and planning to send your long range ones to russia (for nothing as usual of course) to pay for the war in Ukraine. Perhaps they send you another pair of Yak130 to mate with the other pair they screwed you with just few months ago. And, this time they are fighting the west not with the west. Therefore, your argument of "THIS TIME IS DIFFERENT" is already in the toilet, they did it to you again, CHUMPS!

Many posters here seem to have divided royalties, meaning many legions, but very little of it to Iran. In fact, It is hard to believe they're Iranian, more like russians or turks pretending to be Iranian.

Here is some of their better ideas: lol

-Iran doesn't need the bomb, because then neighbors would want them too.
-Nuclear weapons are useless. (nevermind, your enemies are pointing them at you)
-Iran shouldn't use nuclear weapons against Israel in case of a war, because it will kill palistenians. So, just let Israel nuke Iran (life of Iranians are not as valuable as palistenians).
-Iran shouldn't make Anti-Sat system to shoot down enemy spy sats, cuz the debris will fall on neighboring country, and they will complain about debris falling on their land. lol

-Hooting for russia's illegal invasion of Ukraine. Russia the very same country who has consistently used AND IS USING Iran as a bargaining chip, voted to sanction Iran when itself was riding on the west sanction gravy wagon, refused delivrey on every deal, refuse to transfer tech for an old cold war RDC33 while transferred the entire MIG 29 and RD33 PRODUCTION to NK FOR ALMOST NOTHING (IRAN PAID FOR THEM TOO, BUT DIDN'T GET THEM), and flipped the bird at Iran, after iran made a drone factory in russia so it wouldn;t loose to Ukraine.
