Methodically planned BLA/NDS/RAW op. MRAP's can still be attacked by this type of planned op. Drone cover is definitely needed.

The only thing we need right now is to purchase 100 Turkish drones immediately divide all dangerous areas of balochistan and fata into sectors and deploy those UAVs in them once a convoy is ambushed re direct the drones to rain death from above on these scum bags and release the video on Twitter .... is this too hard for our leadership to understand??? Just a small investment ( less than 200 million $ )can save countless Pakistani lives

This is how Ministry of Interior manages FC and equips it with vehicles like Hiluxes.

The issue cannot be solved by a quick fix now. The capacity and capability of FC need to increase. Army needs to delegate some of the policing work to police to increase intel and response. Last but not the least, the perpetrators should be nabbed beyond our geographical boundaries.

1 fucking Hilux with no back up armored car .. I hope our top Military brass see this, and commit suicide
{ Video removed! }
Before the moderators start with the bullshit of not posting gruesome content, every Pakistani should watch this video and know about the sacrifices of the FC soldiers, and freedoms come at a cost paid by the ordinary young men.

The army and the FC commander needs to be questioned why the **** MRAPs and bullet proof vehicles have not been provided. We've been fighting this insurgency for more than 30 years plus and the army is still applying the old plug in play rules. Sometimes it feels like FC are just canon fodder.
May Allah Help us.
First of all thank you for posating this. I want all members to see this and ask -

  • what ethnic group were those poor FC soldiers?
  • why are they driving tin 4 wheel drives?
  • why the fcuk does Pakistan need warships when that money should be used to buy MRAPs and helis for our boys?
What is obvious is that the Hilux is inadequate against any enemy fire. If we can’t get or afford MRAPs, then at least give the FC some basic armored cars, so they can be hit with AK fire and have a chance to return fire. The Hilux leaves NO protection from which to return fire.
FC should get gunships.
Cold hard questions need to be asked of the leadership full stop. Said it for a while now. A total disgrace this was.
RIP our brothers.
Itni ghairat nahi hamari top civilian aur military brass main k suicide kar lain
I didn’t watched the video.
It sad to here such news every then and there. Government needs to take strong notice about the situation and need to act.

How could we fight terrorists with so much weaknesses ?

May Allah open doors of highest Jannat for all deceased Jawans who give their life for us.
Bar Lanat Beshumar on the Gernails sitting in those armored BMWs. Are they even competent or having basic IQ to understand that these open pickups have no value in those mountains? Even I being a civilian and frequent traveler to Balochistan can realised that a thermal drone surveillance on the route and better vehicle choice can save lives!

I just watched the video on youtube and my blood is boiling, am trembling in anger.

Only if the bloody FC Gernail is prosecuted for his empty fcking mind who just knows how to book a DHA plot then this wouldn't be happening.

God save my country because these men running it are just haramkhors who care much about their kids leaving abroad and their plots in DHA along with golf club membership! Lanat on interior ministry lanat on FC hierarchy.
There's surely enough similar-minded top ranking officials in PA and Pak govt that have had the same emotions and reactions to the video, that there will be a shift towards protecting patrol parties but hopefully also being more offensive in targeting India, the other main players and their proxies.

FC comes under Ministry of Interior which is headed by Ijaz Shah who authorises purchases and budget. The IG's (Generals) and other officers from Pakistan Army who are posted to FC for 2-3 years will provide FC soldiers whatever Ministry of Interior authorises them to do.

Please raise the issue with Ijaz Shah.

rest of those FC + private guards losers fled the scene rather than fighting back...

There were 2 pickups & passengers of both accepted Shahadat.

no wonder FC is a crap force..in other words canon fodders
you clearly need regular army to fight these highly trained militants ..Frontier Corps (FC) can't take on guerilla fighters
You need to look at BLA's videos targeting super-duper "Regular Army".
Regular Army is equally poorly trained, don't plan well, and don't learn lesson from past experiences.

So, here are a few observations.

1. Those who conducted this operation, were not killed by any subsequent follow up forces, since the video made it out to people across the border in AF and has since been released out to the public. The propaganda that they were engaged and killed by a follow up convoy, was just well, false information.

2. The quality of the video and the time that it's taken to come out, suggests that this was not transferred via cell phones (quality drops for such videos, given compression algorithms - while this is a 1080p video) but either via high speed internet connection, or via a physical drive. I'd wager against a high speed internet connection, since they are far and few such connections in Balochistan. So the drive did make it across the border.

{ Video removed! }

3. There is a cell phone ringing during this operation and tactical radios being operated, so those who conducted the op are not worried about being captured by any method of electronic or overhead surveillance.

4. Those making videos were using a gimbal setup with the camera (the video is entirely stabilized and does not shake at all), this shows that this was to be a high profile shoot out, with maximum kills and achieving this very objective - Pakistanis being shown in HD video that they can be taken on and that their military cannot do much about it.

5. If you guys noticed, when the second FC vehicle - on the other side of the road - was being approached by the terrorist, one went in, the other stood watch - after taking position away from the vehicle. These guys are trained for these ops, not regular militants.

All in all a shit-show and shows that Pakistani authorities take this fight too easy. Two drones overflights from Pasni and later Ormara or Gwadar would have been more than enough to provide overwatch. We don't need MALEs for this.

Very valid points.

Please provide proof of the illustration you have posted otherwise its mere propaganda.

1. Names of Generals being escorted in silver pick up ?
2. Who identified that Generals were in the silver pick up ?
Exactly.

Moreover, these were OGDC employees in the pickup which managed to escape since its driver was not hit ....the driver remained in his senses and instead of slowing down to present more targets, he sped away from the kill box.
...and moreover, these Fotons are new vehicles being used by Army and FC etc....and they are normally without number plates since they havent been issued yet. They will be given number plates shortly.

That was a question in a way. Trigger happy guy.
I asked same question to DG-ISPR as well.
Apparently ISPR press release said it was OGDC, but OGDC won't travel without registration plate. SUV being OGDC can only be as truthful as rest of the press release by ISPR.

You are moved at the word "Jernail" as if they are never escorted like that. And as if it was a blasphemy against Brahmann "Jernails" to say that soldiers took shahadat while escorting them!

You want the proof? As if the "Jernails" who lie all the time (see below) would have let the truth out. Of course I'm not in military/government/journalism, so cannot force the truth out. Holy Brehman's claimed that it was an "encounter" and that "Security Forces responded effectively" and that "substantial losses were also incurred to the terrorists". . . . all lies.

Your post has been reported for fabricating lies and propaganda.

OK choi-moi.
I am so scared. Trembling in my legs.

And it's ISPR who lied. Not me.
Let me repeat for your slow brain, ISPR claimed that it was an "encounter" "Security Forces responded effectively" and that "substantial losses were also incurred to the terrorists" . . . all lies from ISPR. No truth in ISPR press release. Hence extrapolate that to OGDC claim as well.

You did exactly what "Jernails" would do when confronted for their weaknesses, incompetency, lack of ability to learn from past incidences, lack of planning, lack of foresight, and pizza businesses in Amrika.

Here's press release full of lies for your reference:

ispr.gov.pk_press-release-detail.php_id=5891.png

Tracking down these insurgents is not so difficult task. I don't know why these people don't get caught.
. . . . . . . If we can't do it then our armed forces and intelligence agencies are not effectively doing their duties, means there is no use of giving your life without the fulfillment of purpose.

I have met ISI's ground level operatives, the man-power. They actually came to me to gather "intelligence" about another person.
They are metric-pass sipahis. Or also they hire civilians like the 2 guys Raymond Davis shot down.
Not even close to 007 James Bond stuff.
So they do have limitations.

But the biggest problem with our military is that they don't learn and don't adapt.
4 incidences, years apart, where terrorists climbed the back wall using a ladder. Including air bases.
Nothing was learnt from one incident and hence terrorists kept using same tactic successfully over and over again.

Many dozens of EXACT same attacks in Baluchistan, like this one, but they kept getting bitten from same hole.
No adapting, no change in formation, no change in approach, no change in equipment/vehicles, no change in foreseeing the possible attacks, nothing learned from previous incidences.

Our security forces have sarya in their necks. Inflexible. Stuck in old school tactics.
Not adapting at all, or adapting very slow, to the changing methodology.

Bullet proof wind shields and armoured side doors need to be added and if need be, modify the engines to support that heavy weight. Simple modifications can be done.

Drones, drones, drones.

We need to think outside the box, be ingenious and bring an indigenous solution. Pakistan has great talent. We already have a drone industry in the making, it needs to be flushed with funds from the government. Perhaps some federal research grants and programs.

Imagine this, a pod attached to the vehicles traveling on dangerous routes. The pod contains an aerodynamically rocket shaped device. Which has a booster rocket at the bottom, just a tiny one to get it up and away from trauma below in a quick way. The device opens and releases either a drone or a set of small drones. Which then begin tracking individuals below using software programmed into them. If possible can begin relaying direct video feed back. These drones have the ability to follow any individuals that try to escape and follow them long enough until bigger UAVs arrive on station, that have the endurance to carry on the rest of the way. Multiple small drones would be better because they can follow multiple individuals.

Yes gentlemen, I know this might sound like something out of a science fiction movie but this is not impossible. And I do believe its a good solution to this. The device can be activated via an emergency button within the car or from those sitting in the back bay (where it would be located), or if it detects an explosion. All of this is possible in this day and age, and I don't think its going to be too expensive either.

If successful it can be exported, and adopted for civilian use as well. I am sure a device like that could have many uses.

Another advantage is that we would not need to change much of how we already operate. We can keep our large inventory of Hiluxes, but upgraded with ballistic glass and reinforced doors, slight mods to the engine. Hiluxes do provide a logistics advantage to our large armed forces (paramilitary incl.). An advantage that the MRAPS cannot provide.

Of course the MRAPS provide the best protection, and they can be a long term goal. I know we would love to see our forces in modern equipment, but we just don't realize that our country is just beginning to step on its own feet and that too in a bad neighbourhood. Once we have the funds to modernize and spend more on training, then we can certainly do that.

Even MRAPS after all are not immune to attacks. But a drone device attached would serve as a big deterrent in my view. Nobody wants a tiny drone to follow them home!

Plus buying off the shelf solutions might be tempting, but this is a field that we can work on in nation. Say we buy humvee or another MRAP, we would also need to setup the whole logistics chain for it. Which can also be expensive. But can be done in the future. (or now if we can afford it). But we should make something in the country since we will be needing it in large numbers. But the fastest way would be the modifications I mentioned to the Hiluxes.

On a positive I am glad to see that the rest of the vehicles were able to escape the ambush zone. One thing I noticed though is that these guys didn't fire back. I really wonder why!

Possiblities;
1; Overwhelmed by enemy fire superiority
2; Thought they might be sparred
3; Perhaps held the views that killing other muslims would be bad, (like many in Iraq/Syria did when facing ISIS early in that campaign)

Cheers

These Indian trained terrorists need to be taken seriously, they are working in small units of 10 and on a RAW payroll. Tie for PA to clear Baluchistan of all these murdering rats once and for all. These Indian rats have been around too long in Baluchistan. A few PA divisions should clear this sh!t out.

its very hard to detect guerilla fighters especially when they can flee to their save haven outside border whenever they are being tracked. We first need highly digital surveillance system to monitor land from air. I don't know how it can be managed, via drones or helicopter cover etc but something needs to be done.

Most of these makrani guys are living in Lyari Karachi and in Chahbahar Iran.
In interior Sindh, most of these Makranis are located in Distt Sanghar. Just put Chahbahar and Lyari under surveillance and you will automatically find many these killers.
