TEHRAN (FNA)- Pakistan's President Asif Ali Zardari arrived in the Iranian capital city of Tehran today to participate in the International Conference on Global Fight against Terrorism.


The two-day conference is due to start work in Tehran on Saturday.

Zardari is accompanied by several ministers, including ministers of energy and interior.

Upon arrival at Mehrabad airport, the Pakistani president was welcomed by Iranian Interior Minister Mostafa Mohammad Najjar.

Zardari is shortly to meet and confer with President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

it was the NATO presence surrounding Iran which made them nervous. I dont think Iran directly supports them; they cant be seen supporting them.

if Iranians support Taleban, it was because of these actions in Iraq on the left and Afghanistan on the right.


enemy of enemy is friend kind of thing......there was a point in time not just when taleban were Iran's number one enemy. There was a time when Iran and israel were friendly nations
