1. Claimed he was Ex-SSG: Inquiries provided this to be false
2. Adventure courses, Mountaineering, Power Glider, Frogman
(1 Missing Sky Diver Roller, 2, Diver course takes precedence over mountaineering course badge) also in his service it would have been near impossible for him to have done all 4 courses.
3. Claims to be retired major, check on paper work revealed this to be false, is actually medically retried Captain.
4. Never been on any commando courses, is from Infantry.
5. Was booted out of ATS Islamabad because of running his own private security racket, training staff from NGO and private security companies, claiming to be chief instructor ATS, also destroyed the gearbox on a JICA(Japanese NGO) armoured landrover when he performed an dangerous high speed j-turn.
6. Was suspended from his roll as Instructor SSU (Sindh Police)
7. He has been serving unofficially and illegally in his post since being indicted by Sindh High court for contempt of court during the siege of the court by police[1]:

Late Major(r). Tabassum Zaheer, the grand daddy of bomb disposal and EOD in Pakistan, even before joining the police bomb disposal unit during his time and an Engineer officer he was responsible for hostile mine removal and rendering safe planted shaped changes on the Sui Gas Pipeline.

He has written the book on IED handling and disposal for Punjab Police, Islamabad Police, Sindh Police and KPK. He is an unsung hero of EOD and the war on terrorism in Pakistan, this man quietly saved so many lives and breathed his last in a humble 3 bedroom house in Askari III, no one will remember him, but I will!

I just got tears reading about the person above, he's no doubt a legend! A legend we lost, he could do wonders if given appropriate importance. How humble he still look while this monkey who's only good at speaking and making people ch0otia. Yes, the "blessed hand" always works. I feel so sad that Late Major R Tabassum Zaheer died a simply death yet these monkeys are being treated Pros.

I knew a major who'd hang his army uniform into his car and roam around the girls college to have make some "friends".

At his age, he can take down many of the street thugs without a weapon.

These videos are good, especially for those wanting to learn how to handle weapons and shoot safely. Access to a trainer in Pakistan is rare and most people learn by making a lot of mistakes, sometimes fatal.

There should be more shooting ranges in Pakistan, and affordable too. And then for first weapon license, make it conditional on attending a compulsory training at a certified shooting range. Good revenue generation that and employment for people. Anyone willing to pay 40K+ for a pistol for the first time will happily spend 5k+ on a proper range to learn how to use that weapon safely at least, and likely to become a member of the range too.

The level of weaponry he has stored in his house he is not getting them without Army making sure he gets them. It also his main source of income in his as security consultant for various Multi National Companies my problem with him is his behavior when he starts accusing Molana like Tariq Jameel Sahab. @HariPrasad

He has an agreement with a leading private security guard company in Pakistan (cannot name because of legal reasons) and another company that trains private close protection officers. He has a 'blessed hand' over him so he will always get work, and truth be told he is a better analyst then he is an operator but at least he is better than Maj. Muhammad Saleem, that bloody rascal!
