What's new

Your next car could be electric—and Chinese

EV includes buses, if buses have nothing to do with cars, why the report says anthing about them in the article in the first place? It's ok for you to believe what you believe, but that is also true for others think otherwise.

If people start buying Bus as passenger vehicle, then yes, EV in this article include bus.

The article is about "PEOPLE" buying habit, no one will own a bus for private use, so no, you are wrong.

Again, read the whole article again, ONLY 1 SENTENCE is about bus, and that is "Shenzhen have 100% electric bus" and that is to drive home the point Shenzhen is the home of BYD.

It is pretty obvious this article is not talking about bus, it talked about why PEOPLE, not company, buy EV and compare to Passenger Vehicle manufacturer such as Toyota, BMW, Tesla and Volkswagen, all of which DOES NOT have a heavy commercial vehicle department.

You just lost it, what's the point of convincing others to follow your idea, it'll never work and is that really that important to argue about? The report is about a trend, private cars or not, buses or not, believe it or not..

dude, the "article" not a report, is about people WILL buy EV in the future.

Buses is NOT something normal people will buy as a vehicle, and if you actually did read the article, it is talking about Chinese Brand trying to leapfrog other Foreign Car Brand, and BYD is the only company that make fully Electric bus, which mean it cannot be talking about Electric Bus, as there are no one to Leapfrog.

Either way, Chinese EV is not at all popular in the world, Bus or Car, so to begin with, I doubt that China can get to what the article say with either bus or car anyway.

Whatever you believe is perfect fine with me, let's jus wait and see how future plays out.

LOL! Maybe if you owned a car you'd understand the articles better and you wouldn't talk about buses. You really took this thread down the wacky road.

Well, I once drive my Volvo S40 on a bus lane, a cop caught me and asked "Are you a bus?"

I said "a bus is a car.."

And he still give me a ticket anyway lol.

In Beijing bus lanes are only for rush hours, other time all cars can drive on them and if you drive on a bus lane during the rush hour, police will never stop you, cameras do the job.

You wouldn't associate them with cars. It's like confusing pens with pencils.

Actually the camera doesn't stop you. You just keep driving illegally and get a ticket later.
When the police pull you over they actually make you get out of the lane.
