France and Germany have Lavoisier, Coulomb, Pascal, Descartes, Poisson, Laplace, Fourier, Lagrange, Poincare, Fermat, Ampere, Ohm, Hahn, Planck, Schroedinger, Heisenberg, Gauss, Einstein, Riemann, Fahrenheit, Geiger etc. Russia has nothing. Backwater. A remote corner of Europe where climate is bad.

France and Germany is the core land of Europe. Russia is nobody compared to France and Germany.

You think Su-57 is something? Ha! France and Germany's Airbus will show them what SOMETHING really means.

Western Russia and (ethnic) Russians are also European, just not Western European. Or Western.

If the EU is serious about creating a European military, then we may have a challenger to USA, Russia and China. If only us Brits weren't leaving :(
