A group of Xinjiang kids stopped a PLA convoy for a hitchhike, what should the soldiers do? Acutally the soldier asked them how far their destination is and he has the army assignment that he has to fullfill, after a short discussion the soldier decides it won't hurt to make a short detour and ask them to get in the car.

On their way the soldier apologized again and again to the kids he can't go too far cause he has his own assignment and since his car is already full , he said he can't stop when seeing several other groups of kids waved by the roadside and also want a hitchhike.

O this daily spoken chinese is easy for me. Its the medical chinese that i fund difficult.

I find it especially pleasing that those local village kids can speak standard mandarin. Its very cute video i know for a fact most chinese people are extremely polite and friendly. Good natured people not so different than kids.

It just seems so natural for the locals to stop PLA army cars for a hitchhike, we never did that in Beijing.. the army and the locals have better relations in remote rural regions than in big cities.

I agree . army personel seem very serious in big cities. Here he seems so relaxed and laid back may be he was a high ranking officer with more liberty of time and privilages.

None the less around kids even the most hardened of human beings melt away. Kids make us kids :P

Tajiks are the most friendly people in China, see in this video a group of tourists visit a Tajik town and surround the local girls to take photos without even asking for permssion and those Tajiks are not pissed just return them with good natured smile.

The lady on the phone was speaking uyghurcha. The tajik girl wore traditional clothes haha they wear a similat dress here in kashmir too. We have a few tajiks here as well.
She speaks chinese with an accent 口音。china is a very very diverse nation.

That song in the end of the video is a song in turkish language by singer kazan. I speak a little of uyghur language 维语 。 but my chinese is very good.

These people are proud of their languages and traditional clothes no matter where they are in the world. It aa good thing.

And now who can tell me if those kids look and act like their parents or brothers were taken away by the uniformed PLA personels they stopped for a hitchhike?

These kids have to walk to school and back every day?
No schoolbusses?

Not for those who live in the small villages close to the school, for those who live far from the school the government provide free accommodation and school bus service for many years already. This part of China is in the Pamir border area, the remotest place can be in China.

Those kids probably came to the road from a near by village to hitch a ride.
The kids in the video also say where they go is 10 minutes drive from there. Maybe because the weather is so cold and their kids just want to have a comfortable ride, in the video the soldier also asks the girl if they feel cold out there and ask to check the girls hands to see if they are ok.
