marina never been a dirtiest beach, and never been a beautiful. With lots of improvements i hope it will get to world standard very soon. After tsunami DMK govt did a great job in its facelift.

Whenever i see pictures of beaches (longest, shortest, fairest, dirty, clean, smelly etc), it reminds me of one question. Is beer legally allowed and available for consumption along with nice sea foods? Attributes for beaches can change very quickly with few bottles

Ganguly Da, our Mandarmani beats Marina hands down in that aspect, from my personal experiance, don't even think of having beer sitting in Marina(yeah you can try it at 3 am like me! ), you'd most probably end up in Jail and will have idlli for your dinner!

Chennai has some nice beaches, Besant Nagar is rather nice and warm.
