Yeah, the signal will determine the case but Mehran/Khyber was clearly overspeeding.

I haven't heard any such incident from ambassadors of other country's or their workers.However, why do I keep hearing this from Americans? Don't they have road sense? Don't they value lives of others people? Why always a Pakistani civilian in Pakistan comes under their car and why the hell on Earth they drive cars as if they are in a state of bewilderment. It seems as if they are running from someone for towards something.
They should mend their ways as we are already fedup with their tentrums for past decade. Why the hell on Earth they either turned out to be contract based millitary crew members or colonels?

You should not use the word obsese whites. This is rascism.However, Pakistan should strictly deal with this issue in this regard. Now a woman is under US driven car wheel and is dead, I will see what our desi liberals and human rights activitist say who are always on verge of proving others as unfair in one way or another.

I mean no racism, these words are for a bunch of people who act bad, well you are right in a sense tho as the word does come under racism. My bad.

These desi libtards are nowhere to be seen during these cases. Heck, we must not even bring them up in convos as they matter nothing more than a housefly or a cockroach. But these repeated cases of US Embassy guys violating traffic laws, driving drunk, not injuring but killing our people.

For every death, a family is affected, and this is multiple deaths in one family. I have seen how these cases play out for the remaining members of family, kids getting orphaned, widows, old parents losing their hard raised children.

ISLAMABAD: A woman died on the spot and five others wounded after their vehicle hit by an overspeeding car of US Embassy in Islamabad.

The incident took place at Faisal Chowk of the federal capital where the car belonging to US Embassy violated the traffic signal and ploughed into another vehicle, killing at least one woman on the spot while five others sustained injuries.

While taking immediate action over the incident, police officials have arrested the driver the US Embassy’s vehicle and lodged a case in Margala police station.

Police officials said the dead body and injured people were shifted to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS). The deceased woman is identified as Nadia Bibi, however, the identification of the other persons was not yet known.

Sources said all persons are belonging to one family in Rawalpindi who were heading towards Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).

Earlier on October 16 – 2018, a motorcyclist had been wounded after being hit by a vehicle of the United States consulate in Karachi.

A female official of the US consulate was driving the car when this accident took place in front of PIDC building. People surrounded the car which was later brought to a police station for investigation and the foreign woman travelled back to the consulate in another vehicle.

On April 7 – 2018, a United States diplomat, Colonel Joseph Emanuel, ran a red light and rammed into a motorcycle killing a Pakistani civilian. He was let go by police officials after the accident as he had diplomatic immunity from criminal prosecution.

Col Joseph enjoyed diplomatic immunity under the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations 1961. A writ petition filed in the Islamabad High Court was also dismissed.

When you let a crime go unpunished, you permit it to happen again. Friendship (or appeasement) of a country doesn't mean you permit them to kill your citizens.

I hope Imran Khan takes a serious note of this incident and punishes the people involved in it. Not everyone who works for USA is covered by the Geneva convention. For God sake stop sacrificing your law because lawbreaker was paid by Americans.

Diplomats specially American have immunity and can not be convicted... If Britain cant convict wife of American diplomat then dont expect much from Pakistan..
Btw... From the looks of the accident does not look like the SUV was over speeding... its just that Pakistani made cars specially 10-15 years old were made from tin ka dubba and one slap on the body will dent the body.

There is no such reporting that suzuki skipped the red light. But the channels did report yesterday that it was the embassy car doing violation

yeah it looks like suzuki driver was over speeding. he didn't slowdown near the junction.
they hit the other car which was coming at normal speed.
