Windows Internet Explorer 9

Chrome is slow. i dont find it user friendly while firefox here is crashing every now and then for last 5 days but i have to use it due to spellings.

i hate windows its a pushcart

I am not sure if you know how to install OS, but try using Ubuntu parallel to windows for somedays. i am sure you will remove windows totally after that. i started with ubuntu that way only.

Have you updated your firefox? Is your internet slow even on other browsers? i mean not much speed diffrence. because chrome is the fastest browser around....

No the net is fast quiet good.

I had updated firefox last week but for the last 4 or 5 days suddenly it starts crashing and i have to restart again.

and i dont know why but i found chrome slow as compared to firefox or may be i dont like its layout thats why.

OH i was not not talking about IE and thought he was addressing me

man why do people keep using the crappy IE nowadays.....ur much better off with Opera ;tho if u want an extensive optimized support with bowser based games and apps Mozilla is more well marketed ...
Opera is the best in my books.

then i guess problems with system cuz chrome i personally checked is faster than firefox for the reason its lighter and takes less resources. actually chrome is a raw browser with least functionalities and then gives u chance add only those things which you want from the web store. nothing latka jhatka extra.

Try upgrading to firefox 4 which is latest. or go to help menu there will check for updates update it again

Can someone tell me if it is a good idea to move from AVG (free edition) to MSE (Microsoft security essentials)..... In particular how would it effect the speed of my system.....

Opera is the best in my books.

though i am not the fan of desktop version of opera but when it comes to mobile opera is the best after the micro b browser on N900(for it supports flash video play and stuff)

Windows doesn't suk or Linux fro that matter.. Windows does most of the work for u; Linux on the other hand is an open sourced OS/Tool for modular methodologies in development.
Windows has better marketing is more media optimized....it all boils down to ur preferences ...a serious gamers goes for Windows on the other hand a serious Corp* goes for Linux as its more secure(in general theoretical terms) due to scarcity of the particular source code in use for the malware/Virus/Injectors developers to work on simultaneously anywhere they are.
Windows 7 is the most secure of OS as of now but is too expensive for Corp* mass utilization

Guess I should continue with AVG (free)..... Only thing is I read they are offering more services than AVG.....hence the query

Uninstall firefox using 'YOUR UNINSTALLER' & then re-install the firefox....
search for the said application at phazeddl.com
