Will Indian SU-30 pilot ever be released by Pakistan?

Indian Airforce is shamefully trying to prove that Pakistan has used F-16s. How shameful.

Why dies this matter at all?

The fact is accepting that Indian Airforce's top tier fighter SU-30 MKI was brought down by JF-17 would be much more shameful hence they have taken the less shameful option.

Forget the pilot , if pakistan had a single piece of scrap metal of Su30 , it would have been crowing about at top of the voice to demoralize IAF .

Let's assume that both govts/medias are lying to the people to boost morale. This means we set aside what we don't have any proof of: F-16 downing (missile cap is not proof of downing) and Su30 downing.

All we're left with is an IAF MiG-21 Bison downed by PAF and the pilot captured

Indian helo downed due to "technical" / under-investigation reasons (yet happened exactly in the same narrow time window as the aerial dog fights)

So, the only thing we have proof of and that BOTH sides agree on is:
IAF lost helo
IAF lost jet
IAF lost 6+ people (KIA / captured)

1. abhinandan was the pilot of the su30 that crashed on the indian side.
2. the 2nd pilot crashed and died on the indian side.
3. the mig21 pilot is the critically injured one and probably in the ICU at CMH, will be shown to the world and handed over to india if he lives.
4. india showing a fake and a miserable hackjob of a piece of missile that miraculously shows the entire missile name and the contract/sernum they found over the internet only proves that IF the indians were truthful, that ONLY proves that one of your fighter planes got sodomized by an AIM-120C!
5. PAF has not and will not use the F-16s as the frontline fighter due to 2 reasons:
a. No trust in the u.s. in pressing a kill switch in the middle of a fire fight.
b. We don't have the kind of air refuelers for the F-16. Our air refuelers are for aircrafts with IFR probes while the F-16 does not have that, just a fuel intake on the spine. Therefore JF-17 Thunders and Mirages are the platforms of choice for sending first. F-16s remain on backup.

This is something new.

Oh come on, this is the nth thread and without any substance. If there was a second or third pilot of IAF were in Pakistan's custody, they would have paraded him infront of the media or there could have been tons of videos of the same. It was the DG of ISPR claimed that there is one pilot under custody, one is being treated in hospital and the other one on the run. Later on they back tracked from the claim. But the question remains at large, how come the ISPR profoundly stated about the second pilot. As far as I see, IAF and Indian government admitted downing of an Indian Mig and the pilot is MiA. If at all any fighter was crashed in Indian side it would have been revealed to the wotld by now. Until or unless there are concrete proofs that a seconf jet of IAF was down or IAF indeed shot down a F16, not gonna believe both versions.

Pakistan's JF-17 had brought down 2 Indian fighters - 1 MIG-21 (1 pilot) and 1 SU-30 fighter (2 pilots). MIG-21 crashed on the Pakistan side while the SU-30 crashed on the Indian side.

MIG-21 pilot had to be released as, his video was published on the internet and neither India nor Pakistan could not hide that fact.

One SU-30 pilot had died in the crash while the other is in Pakistan's custody.

Pakistan is willing to release the pilot but it wants India to first accept the fact that the SU-30 fighter was taken down by the Pakistani fighter.

Modi does not want to accept that and instead is trying to prove that Pakistan had used its F-16 fighters against India in the hope to put pressure on Pakistan through the US.

In all this drama between India & Pakistan, the Indian SU-30 pilot is languishing in Pakistan's custody.

Will he ever get his freedom like Abhinandan Varthaman, the Indian MIG-21 pilot?

Why not? We don't have anything against the other poor guy. I look at them as victims of political terrorism.
But I have an strong feeling that, we have already released the SU guy. It is the Mig guy who is in our custody.
And I have yet another feeling that the other SU guy is dead. His burned body pics were posted on media.
But truth is yet to come out.

3. Su30 didn't even leave indian airspace let alone be shut down over Azad Kashmir .

Pakistan will be happy to believe what you are believing. Even thought Pakistan said it had second pilot in CMH, and this was told by PM and DGISPR separately, in two separate occasions - but we now say what India wants to listen. So there was just one and no one is being treated in CMH hospital.

So who are we supposed to believe? The air force who displayed own crashed mig 21 aircrafts as the one downed during 65 & 71 war. I think there is also a thread here in which it is proved through facts that IAF painted own crashed MIGs as PAF aircrafts and displayed them. 2nd thing, India has committed a blunder by showing wreckage of aim120. It further proves our point one iaf aircraft went down in IOK.I bet they have taken it out from smoking wreckage of either a mki or a mig because aim 120 explodes either in the close proximity of aircraft or after impacting it. Otherwise it falls on the ground unexploded. International media is also laughing on India's rhetoric. Paf is also going to show its whole F16 fleet I think .by the way, its good u people believe that u shot down F16. It will help in further de escalation.

Its good that second plane was not MKI and even better that Pakistan doesn't have second pilot. However, time will itself reveal truth very soon.
