OK jabs notwithstanding - what is the penetration of washing machine usage in Indian households now? With the size of 'chhota' Asian washing machines being sold in Bangladesh I am astonished. Seems you could only wash couple of socks, a handkerchief and a langoti...

Edit: I found out from my household that now people are really sick of these chhota machines (4~5 KG) and are going for larger front loader machines (9 KG size). These last longer as well.
