Why Is China Obsessed With Security?

This girl says that China is the only place where she can just leave her cameras or personal belongings everywhere and go about doing other things without worrying about someone may take them. The truth is everyone knows there are some cameras somewhere and if you take other people's stuff the camera will catch them right away and get them in unnesassory trouble, so they just don't bother to pick them up.

Such a safe communist country but every hsr station you have to go through metal detectors and security ladies checking you. While in the bad democratic country of Japan, no metal detectors visible at stations ?
Funny story, in a town south of shanghai, the driver would stop at every traffic red light, even though the roads were empty. We from India were suitably impressed by Chinese discipline. Then he skipped a red light and we asked him the reason. No cameras at this light he replied. Human nature.

Subway stations too. I don't know about Japan, but anyway is a small country the size of a Chinese province, when you are dealing with one fifth of the humanity, the chances of risks can multiply.

China has had negligible terrorism. What do they check for?
India has checking in some metros but not really in railway stations. But we have a history of thousands killed in Mumbai in the local trains in bomb blasts but why China needs all this security I don't know ?

Yes it is such a pity.
That Chinese guy at the red light is smart, no point wasting time on a road with no traffic. Shows he have a brain.

China could have followed Japan's minorities policies earlier on and avoided all these terrorism acts by the Uyghurs.

In August 2014 Yasuyuki Kaneko, a city councillor for Sapporo, sparked intense controversy by tweeting ‘there are no such people as the Ainu any more, are there?
In 1986, the Ainu people were still subject to the antiquated and discriminatory Former Natives Protection Law, which aimed to eradicate their distinctive traditions.

It is too late now.
Instead of like China giving minorities extra benefits and preserving their cultures, Japan eliminated and culturally genocide the minorities.
Japan did it since 1899.

Former Natives Protection Law
.
The "Former Natives Protection Law" was a piece of legislation put into place by the Meiji government in 1899 and aimed at the assimilation of the Ainu people.

Fortunately China did not follow such barbaric policy and we get to enjoy such a diversity of cultures in China.
Total of 55 minorities.

I see you support CULTURAL GENOCIDE of minorities.
You must be a Modi supporter.

Why do Chinese posters always deflect so much? Just stick to the topic.
Why does safe China need such strict security? China has next to zero terrorism incidents.

Good example of IQ82.
You were insinuating that Japan don't need security measures like China.
I was explaining to you, Japan was far-sighted and started eliminating or genocided culturally their minorities since 1899 and therefore they enjoy no acts of separatist terrorism.

Your British masters must be disappointed with your level of English Comprehension.

The funniest thing about subway security check is that if you bring in bottled drinks you have to open them and drink a bit first. Several times I saw foreigners were not allowed into the subway station with bottled waters and didn't understand what the subway staff want them to do.
