Then where do you come up with millions to begin from. When you are sheltering militants, you become a legitimate target, and you are a legitimate target. If militants launch attacks on Israel from civilian areas, those areas should be hit back. that is the unfortunate nature of warfare...

State sponsored terrorism from Syria, lebanon. Jordan, iraq, Iran, Egypt. That in my opinion is the root cause, not Just Israel.
Syria, Jordan and egypt tried and failed miserable at conventional warfare, as as we know when around the world, when aggressors fail at conventional warfare, they more often resort to asymmetric warfare, and Israel has been facing that for a very long time. Realize this is war, and the results wont be rosy. Israeli actions will be ruthless, and will only look out for their own interests, and that is the rule of war.... when states dilly dolly with militants, events like 26/11 occur. Arab states will fight Israel till the last Palestinian.

What happened after War broke out between the Arabs and Jews in 1948?? the Jews occupied nearly 80% of Palestine and established Israel on it and ethnically cleansed 80% of the Palestinians from the land they occupied and destroyed and depopulated more than 400 Palestinian villages, massacred thousands of Palestinians and made 3/4 million Palestinians refugees.

The UN voted in 1948 to tell Israel to allow the Palestinian refugees to return to their homes, but did Israel allow it??
In 1967 Israel militarily occupied the remainder of Palestine.The Security Council again voted in 1967 and 1973 that Israel return to the 1967 borders and allow the refugees to return but again all that was in vain.
All that Palestinians 're negotiating now is to get only the lands occupied in 1967 back to establish their own state on it and for Israel to allow the deposed people in 1948 and 1967 to return to their original homes.
If terrorists are being supported by Palestine then its an aftermath of all the above mentioned atrocities and Palestine's humiliating experiences.

Country where u live is responsible for murder of over half million innocent Iranians (they sponsored Saddam's aggression with billions of dollars). I bet lives of half million Iranians are much cheaper than 120 Palestinians.

The Iranians and Iraqis had equally devastating losses during that 8-year war. That is still not a justification for Israel's actions though.

The way I see it, Israel was created solely because Nazi Germany decided one fine morning to rid Europe of Jews. But it's repercussions were forced on Palestinians by an act of immature revisionism.

This conflict is also a great eye-opener over what outside meddling can do to a regional conflict. Israel's actions and policies are plagued by insecurities over continued support to Palestine by actors who are in no way connected with the conflict, read the likes of Iran, KSA, Pakistan etc, while on the other hand they're emboldened by continued US patronization.

Lawl whatever you are spurting here is complete non sense. We are fighting for our survival and we will keep on fighting for it. Israel has asked zillion of times to stop firing rockets and have a discussion but these terrorists keep on doing it from civilian areas. People are being asked on many occasions to leave the vicinity before bombing but they have been used as a shield. We don't have option other than making them understand in the language they understand.

Israel defence forces arrest the Palestinians kids, kill unarmed ppl on the check posts.I am sure you too must have seen pics of atleast some of such incidents.
