Why Do We Need America ?

Well, some people would claim that 1 Momin = 10 Kaffirs. Such a person will view himself as the dominant party. America and China have been happy to sustain this belief.

no doubt, yet who is Momin here but Muntazir Zahdi ? didnt he prove that ?

The tension b/w Pakistan and U.S is not going to end with both countries breaking ties with eachother.

Rather the leadership of Pakistan should also learn to say NO to U.S for the country's interest instead of saying YES SIR! always. .

Why not?

US can still hike its military expenditures to police around the World, and we are only interested of making money as long as we can defend ourselves. :P

Give the Cat steroids mixed with booze and it'll attack even the lion, let alone a dog.

Pakistan Army = Cat

US money = Booze

US weapons = Steroids.

Now you can see.

Is not the great nation of Pakistan a key ally in this war on terror? Is it not uncommon to have disagreements between equal and mutually dependent allies? If there were no arguments would it not mean that one side thought the other weaker and did not feel the need to respond? Why would the US commit billions of dollars in military aid over the next five years to Pakistan? There is no doubt the straight path defines our journey and our goal. The mutual sacrifices made by both nations on this path proves our combined commitment to defeating terrorism. Is now the time to lose focus and show panic when the insurgent activities are clearly proving that they are nearing demise? At first, Taliban mouthpiece tried to turn people against our alliance by proclaiming that the US has waged a war against the Islam. Pakistani’s realize Taliban were attempting to use religion as a shield to achieve their evil agenda. Now that mosque bombings, Qur’an burnings and massacre of Muslims has revealed Taliban’s true nature are we not witnessing desperate attempts to make the weak minded believe that the war against terror is un-winnable. Taliban cannot succeed if our alliance does not fall apart?

Let me restate for emphasis, Pakistan continues to make independent decisions; for example the government’s decision to allow the Taliban into Swat, and the military strategy to force Taliban from the Valley. Would we not dishonor those indiscriminately killed by Taliban if we parted ways and cleared a crooked path for terrorism? Would it not be in our mutual interest to eliminate the mutual threat that preys upon us?
