Yes, Indian members, specifically the post 2020 or so sorts, the Hindutva sorts, have done their little bit to poison the wells here.
Pakistani members haven't been lacking in efforts in the same direction.
Those who tried to focus on matters of military interest have suffered from both sets.

Hindutva need to be banned. There is nothing unreasonable about this demand. The vast majority of Indian members are related to Hindutva. There is nothing to discuss here. You don't identify yourself as a Hindutva. You cannot possibly be opposed to such a nonle suggestion. End of discussion.

So why didn't you ban those members? You say vast majority. Did anyone actually check? When @waz cleaned out the forum some years ago, did the earth come to a stop? And were those who remained people who had purchased their continuation?

I am not opposing your suggestion. What the hell did you guys do about it, when we were being attacked in season and out of season by those? Most of you sat back and laughed, at Indians attacked by Indians. Did it not occur to you then that this was something unethical, low-down and undeserving?

I am not a moderator. I would have immediately banned Hindutva members. Just because @waz cleaned up years ago doesn't mean we should give up and stop cleaning up scourge.

We are now in the process of setting up a new forum. A good opportunity to promote stricter rules that would benefit the forum. Any decent member of this forum would encourage and promote ban against Hindutva trolls. Banning Hindutva trolls is a good and noble thing.

I am NOT opposed to your suggestions. I would have been the first to ban them. My negative ratings were evenly distributed among nationalities, without bias.

My only point of pain is the way this was trivialised, by Pakistani members, to some lesser extent, because influenced by members, by Pakistani moderators.

This forum was being run like the average Pakistani institution. Everyone slacks off and thinks someone else will cover for their job. Then one day the institution shuts down as a result of rot, and everyone returns to say their goodbyes.

Don’t say that man , I disagree even as Indian. volunteering is very hard thing to do specially when you do day in and day out. And think about the pressure mod would have because sometimes you have to listen to Nawaz and then Imran and now army and it just gets crazy and their supporters don’t get me even started.

No Pakistan defense forum should ever have a political section. It’s a recipe of a disaster unless forum is run non-by non Pakistani or person without any connection to Pakistan.

Because there is fairness in other non Indian forum. Hindus don’t need to hear gomutra and insults about their religion so they don’t reply back. Very hard to understand for some but many people don’t take insults and become forum Shaeed.

Anyway, this forum is closing, not because any of the pajeets. There is only one reason and thy name shall never been uttered.

Many suicide trolls came on board, and straightaway made a beeline for any and every thread. I have watched dozens, scores over the years.

Not that Pakistani members didn't add to the mess by reciprocating, or even, as you suggest, straightaway going for the jugular of any and every Indian that comes into view. They are as much at fault.

The forum closure does not affect what happened. It is merely an occasion to underline what not to do, and - for others, not Pakistani - how not to behave.

A forum where narrative is controlled by the state can't be called a real forum.
