It was obviously a Pakistani

It is alleged that the current GoP and Hussain Haqqani personally issued a lot of visas to US personals without clearance from ISI, close 7200 visas were issued.

Stop spreading lies...... Since when army started to issue visas?

Army has been in tussle with govt. from the time since black water for regulating visas with proper paper work.

I have read many drifts in foreign medias incl. that the murded duo was working for ISI.

One drift from bharti news papers was that Saudi Arabia demanded immunity of Raymond Davis.

Even, PressTV Iran advocated for the diplomatic immunity for Raymond Davis.

But, Never read army started issuing diplomatic visas.

Present govt. has fired secretary of defence on suspicions of not routing single paper properly do you think that army was responsible for repeatedly issuing visa?

It was the civil govt. who was involved on various counts to issue visas to black water and various other shady individuals.

Shah Mehmood QUreshi resigned on this issue and he blamed in press on Zardari forcing him to issue visa for Raymond Davis.

According to R.Malik Raymond Davis was a special diplomat who had been granted rights by UN to kill any civilian or intelligence officer of Pakistan, as he deem necessary.

It is all over the web.

Zardari pushed to grant immunity to Raymond Davis: Qureshi

Davis came to Pak on diplomatic passport: Malik

Davis holds diplomatic passport, Malik tells Senate

Rehman Malik’s role in protecting Raymond Davis

Latif Khosa, Babar Awan defend Raymond Davis’ release

Munter meets Awan: US engages legal counsel for Davis

Davis safe from prosecution: Wahab

It is obvious that Mr. Haqqni was working for the CIA and not for Pakistan....He is an undercover CIA agent.....:smokin:

plus Mr. Rehman Malik is also CIA Cum Mosaad agent.....:smokin:

the thing is every diplomat or any worker in a consulate or Embassy of a different country in Pakistan is followed by the recruit of Joint Intelligence Bureau every time, on bikes and cars, as soon as they come out of their premises. It is a normal fact and they do it openly. Earlier JIB was specially made India centric and mostly Indian diplomats were eyed. But now they have started with Americans too and some other countries. this is what was the case with Davis, where he tried to become James Bond.

Normally it took 10 weeks for americans to get the visa but after the relations got bitter, they have extended the term to 14-20 weeks where as Indians get it in 52 weeks after thorough investigation by IB(Pakistan).

Hehehehe .... Good one !

People the truth of the matter is, if MI wants to stop a person, they can STOP him/her.
If they failed to do so, then it's their bad.

Think of it this way,

did Ray Davis pull off this job the first day he came to pak ? NO !

Ray Davis was here for a considerable amount of time, and if MI failed to sniff the rot then they should have done better.

Hunger-striking US exec released from Dubai jail on Dh5m bail

Hunger striker Zack Shahin, the former Deyaar chief executive charged with misusing his powers and approving bids in return for millions, was granted bail this morning by the Dubai Criminal Court.

Mr Shahin, an American, had been on a hunger strike since May in an effort to be released on bail from Dubai central jail, where he has been awaiting trial on charges of theft and fraud involving more than Dh300 million. He has been in jail since March 2008.

Mr Shahin's legal team in the US had launched a public-relations campaign calling for the president, Barack Obama, and the secretary of state, Hillary Clinton, to intervene.

He was released on the condition that he submits his passport and that of a sponsor. There will be a penalty of Dh5 million if bail is violated.

The next hearing was scheduled for July 23.

----------

I was just thinking how correctly and in a fair and just way Pakistan handled Raymond Davis case.

Compare Pakistan's handling the issue of an American with that of UAE's handling the issue of an American keeping in view that the former was an American spy working against the country (a very sensitive issue) and later is a civilian employee who presumably misused his powers, what should have been the proper response of Pakistan?

But again we are in a dream world where we have expectations from the government and politicians which cannot be fulfilled by them let alone having high expectations from them.
