Modern Carriers don't sink easy---. Maybe a medium yield nuc could do that---.

And there is no such thing as " right spot " in the modern carriers".

w are not talking about super carrier NIMITZ class or Gerald Ford class, 104000 tons carriers. We are talking about good old Kiev class, INS vikrimiditya at most 45000 tons. so yes a single hit can do the job if rightly placed

right spot mean a lot of things, even if the deck is hit, it can be catastrophic if the fires are not controlled timely which can lead to sympathatic detonations of fuel and ammunition.
