at our uni we saw the Indo-pak match with our pakistani friends
after we won, we got them a couple of beers ... masti mazak mein sab chalte rehta hai
:D we even made them watch a bit of gadar also lol
 
My own experience with Indians in the UK has been quite satisfactory, as it turns out, we tend to overlook our differences in foreign lands and flock together.

They were nice people, a bit difficult to understand what they were saying and they also have a tendency to switch from Hindi to English to Tamil and then when they realize I didn't get a word of what they said, they would cycle right over to the first language.

I myself find them hard to understand, and when they are in a group, god save you, its mother-tongue invasion
