The difference is that Bangladesh is slowly but surely progressing, but Pakistan is riddled with problems at the moment. Extremism, drone attacks, a war going on, tons of aid, economic crisis, diplomatic problems, poor governance etc.

Bangladesh is in a much better state and is free of these problems, and hence will enjoy good growth in the future, it might even overtake Pakistan in the next decade if Pakistan doesn't rid itself of the current problems.
