iran already have f-16 .

Just one or two F16s were delivered to Iran. Iran had ordered 80 of them before the 1979 revolution.

Yeah at this point 25 year old un-maintained F-16s would not make sense to even use with Venezuela from the ealy 2000s being a thorn to the US and them switching to Chinese/Russian planes and weapons in the late 2000s Chavez bought SU-30s too

they are block 15 from 1982-84 engines already done their jobs and its very hard to keep them air worthy now . unless uncle support them .also air frames are on limit . avionics will be very old

But airframes is all Iran needs. Iran can install pods, HUD, cockpit tech, ejectable seats etc. Not saying this to say that Iran getting a run down Venezuelan F16 will be easy or quick.But I dont think it will be too hard for Iran.
