I have read a lot of rants from supporters of pir of London about waderas n jageerdars. However, I guess they have no idea about waderas or jageerdars.

So, stop ur rants and hatred and tell me what u know about waderas? Pls do speak on facts n not ur biased emotions.. Thanks

one word = a badie !!

Wadera is a poweful jagirdar. who manipulates his riyat... he is the judge, jury and executioner.

his sole purpose is keep two classes in the society elite(his family) and his working class.

moreover, they try to extend their power and land by marrying in their class, and not allowing their sisters to get married.

moreover, they dont abide the Law of the country or religion, but abide their interests.

First, your own thinking is clouded because you refer to people here at large as " supporters of pir of London" and expect them to "speak from ...ur biased emotions" implied too that these will be automatically biased. However if you're a jaagiirdaar then I do understand where you're coming from. The landowner has been vilified to an extent. But losing your thinking cap would only exacerbate it for you.

I'll begin by referring from dictionary as to what jaagiir means. -daar is 'the one that has' so you could piece the two together:

P جاگير jāgīr (jā, q.v.+gīr, rt. of giriftan 'to take'), s.f. Land and villages given by government as a reward for services or as a fee, a rent-free grant, a freehold, a pension (in land, &c.), a fief:—jāgīr-dār, s.m. The holder of a jāgīr or fee, a feoffee, grantee; a holder of a perpetual tenure subject to a quit rent and service:—jāgīr-ě-dawām, s.f. A rent-free estate obtained as a grant in perpetuity:—jāgīr-ě-manṣab, s.f. A grant of land, &c. attached to an office or dignity.

And:

Also if we break jaagiir for you you'd get it more easily: jaa-place, giir-take, grab.

So by definition, you're grabbers of peoples' lands!

Once again, waDDaa is the Sindhi equivalent of baRaa. Hence a waDeeraa is the 'big, influencial man' of someplace. But you don't become that without owning the place. And that is the seed of all the evils attributed to you.
