What do Pakistanis think about Iran

I have been to various cities in Iran, it's a beautiful country with beautiful people. Thousands of Pakistanis go there every year (mostly Shia pilgrims but some sunni people as well for various business purposes and they are a very hospitable people). I wish Iran and Pakistan really could open up more to each other. Iranians helped us significantly in the 65 and 71 wars (yes I know that was a different regime) but bottom line as a people I think we generally support each other.

I hate the recent surge of ethno-nationalism, and find it's adherents to be irritating as well as ignorant of their own history as well as that of their neighbours. I also don't like the people who feel the need to keep cussing the Sahabah (Allah be pleased with them), and the Iranians who seem to think they're all white.

Everyone else is pretty decent though, and Iran has a solid history. Their country also has some haya unlike ours (blunt truth), and they are firm in the direction they want their nation to go in whereas ours is stuck in this pseudo-secular pseudo-Islamist phase.
