What do Indian children say about Pakistan?

There was a very valid point that sushma swaraj briefed about the domestic politics in Pakistan... "The only way they can win election is hatred campaign and that is actually a very valid one".. When a real party in Pakistan pledges out for economic growth has its first agenda than the hatred india.. If that party wins and sticks to its agenda... then that is the day we can see a modern Asia ... Until then we are 3 rd world countries

but the only solution to our problems is good people-to-people understanding...

Unlike in Pakistan, parents and teachers do not care enough about Pakistan to teach their kids to hate it. The children learn from the news.
While you see mass protests against India and US in Pakistan, do you see such processions in India? Even after Mumbai attacks, they had a small procession asking government for answers . Indians are quite selfish and do not empathize much for others. Which sometimes is good!

Let me assure u that we r not taught hate towards pak in our textbooks,even pak is very barely mentioned at all.
Children only hear abt pak when there is a cricket match or a terrorist attack.
And by large nobody hates pakistanis

The hawkish attitude among children exisit due to sterotypes they learn from their parents / surroundings / media etc etc. At my school there was an old british teacher..something like 70 years old..who was not so fond of Indians & Pakistanis..we might have adopted her sterotypes but have grown up to act mature and beyond such bigoted thinking!

Helloooo - Pakistan is hardly included in textbooks in India. Since you shoot off your mouth so readily, why don't you show me one Indian textbook - either of the central boards or any of the 25+ state education boards - which inculcate Pakistan hate?

On the contrary, I can show you your own textbooks, which teach hate for Hindus, Kaafirs in general, and of course, India. This is well known information. And the effect of those textbooks is clearly visible in you, going by the nature of your posts and the threads you start.

Let me make it very clear to you: most Indians don't care jack about Pakistan. People who take active interest in geopolitics and military are so few compared to the overall population - most people in India (more than 90&#37 just don't care about Pakistan. It is only during cricket matches or terrorist attacks that Pakistan is even discussed, and then everyone gets into a rage for some days and demands why nothing is being done to Pakistan, and then quieten down in a few days. That is the reality. Don't measure India with a Pakistani yardstick.

The thing is Pakistan is peaceful nation so we need to put some hate in our nation just in case....

On the other hand India is not that much peaceful and don't need hate in their education. Without any hate we hear these things from 13 year old...
