Chinese are conscious about border control and demographics, I doubt this happened without the government knowing
 
Its okay to set up trade zones to trade with the world and have them come over. Especially muslim area trade zones are good for muslim world which china has a lot of good relations with and not just because Muslims got the oil. China can exchange technological know how with muslims in exchange for trade deals and stronger relations

I think many are visitors with permits.. due to trade. Let's just be flexible on halal and praying, and control everything else like numbers, specific worship places, tariffs, etc
 
In the video the travel says that with a smile, and he says "Batie" 巴铁 ( Pakistani iron brothers) everywhere, he means nothng negative about it.
