Baki Canada and especially America Karachiwaley bhaiyon se bhara hua hai. Jis se pucho wo Karachi ka bhaiya hai. Rishta dhoondna mushkil hua wa hai idhar. Ufff.

Jis route ki demand ho gi wohi route lagai gi na airline. Bhai mere!

It's just demographics of Pakistani expats. Insha Allah if Karachiwalas demand also increases then why not.

I know my guy, just pointing out that Karachi can potentially be a profitable destination but it's the Airlines choice in the end. However first and foremost for that destination to be viable security has to be guaranteed, something which i don't think Karachi managed to fulfill as per requirements. US and UK officials came and went assessing the security situation, Islamabad and Lahore got the go ahead but silence regarding Karachi which i'm *guessing* is probably dissatisfactory for them unless i'm mistaken. So until Karachi get's that fixed up opening a route there is out of the question.

Fantastic news. I will be using Virgin next time. And Islamabad Airport is lovely. Most of the staff [Pakhtun/Punjabi] provided good service. Without doubt the best airport and only one I would use. Lahore is okay. Karachi was horrendous. But then was most of the city also horrendous. The only redeeming feature Karachi has is that geography provided it a port. For everything else the less said the better. City of lights? Dunno which joker came up with that idea.

The good thing is anything good Pakistan has is within hours driving from Islamabad Airport. The historical Gandara, Khyber Pass, Peshwar, Chitral, Swat, Hazara, Gilgit-Baltistan, Neelum valley, AJK, the Potohar plateau with Rohtas fort and further east Lahore. So for foreign tourists is the perfect entry point.

What does south have? Mmmmmm ......

Turkish Airlines service to Lahore is spectacular. Food was great as well.

Karachi's status has been reduced to a forgotten city , first the capital of Country was moved from Karachi to Islamabad

And gradual decline in interest in Karachi's over all growth and maintenance has made it from Top City of Asia to mediocre , mismanaged city

Unfortunately a port city has to be running 100% efficiently in order for country to prosper

Karachi needs a lot of TLC from federal government. Let's start by making it a federal city and taking it out of the cluthches of ppp and other fascists and sectarian outfits. Moreover, empower the city government to tackle the issues without buckling under political pressure, and finally, create a new metropolitan police force and get rid of corrupt sind police force, and watch it develop into a modern city in a decade or two, and take it's rightful place in pakistan and the world.....this is my wish at least.

80% of British Pakistanis are from the mirpur region AJK. The other large community are from Gujarat Punjab. Hardly see any people from sindh.
