Sorry, we have already have good domestic rifle maker, Pindad. And we have already have adequate quality of domestic assault rifle for our TNI. SS1 and SS2.

I am more interested in Vietnamese homegrown large caliber missiles. I think Indonesia can learn a thing or two from Vietnam when it comes to reverse engineering large caliber missiles. What missiles would be on display in this event?

Actually that sounds fair. I mean the boats were donated so it was up to SK to only give the hull or the entire system. But from the look of it, Vietnam managed to bring the ships condition back to fighting state so if the goal is to fill the gap in the Vietnamese surface navy, that seems to be a good deal.

Their plethora of recoilles rifle gun and SPG 9 or their own Made RPG 29 is something we can bought from them without compromized our logistic line as we don't got them in number in first place. AShM can't do as their CMS and network is very different with us, as they even need to add launch control system for the Pohang Corvette they had before adding the AShM. More or less working like our Yakhont missile, thats a big no.

Btw they too producing heavy mortar too (120 mm) cal. We need them sooner or later and by any means it is better if the supplier is much closer at home

Other cooperation maybe in exchange of repairing center, we can fix our Mi fleets there meanwhile they can repair their super puma fleets in Indonesia.

Our AK chambered in 5,56 cal, i don't think Vietnamese factory using those Chamber as even their galil variant using the 7,62X39 caliber
