HELP ME WITH THIS PLEASE, I JUST NEED THE VALUE OF "X"

That is the way to represent it lol. 3 shows the vertical component of v1 is 3 and 4 shows the horizontal component of v1 is 5. The hypotunese gives magnitude of v1. I might be wrong tho. But it certainly gives the angles the vector makes with x axis and y axis. Besides if that wasn't the case you would never be able to find magnitude of v.

wait how did you find the angle? that too using the tiny triangle?
