Singapore is too small. The tiny naval base can't house much US fleet and no USAF plane base in singapore. Unlike Clarke airbase which house hundreds of US jets in the past.

US does not "Hate" or hold dissenting view on Philippine, the 1992 debaco is a mistake, even Philippine Government regonize it, trust me, the US does not hate Philippine for it

That said, US will probably not resettle in Philippine permanently ever again, not because of the American hate Pinoy, but simply its is not doable nor economical to resettle in Philippine

Resettling means we have to pack up part of our force and deliever them to Philippine, that is not cheap.

Set aside money, even if Philippine said they are willing to pay for it, what the US settle in Philippine with? Bside a few squir with a volley court...The US have no ship and planes to station in Philippine, all the ship un the US Pacific fleet currently have their own assignment, we are not going to build 2 new carriers, 8 new destroyer and a few new sub so that the US can station in Philippine...

Otherwise, if we insist to station in Philippine, we would have to stratch thin our resources in Asia Pacific
