I don’t care about CAIR, but am worried about the consequences for American Muslims.

We would be rendered absolutely voiceless and therefore susceptible to more abuse by the state.

The game is not to ban CAIR, but to remove any obstacle to create an atmosphere of fear and oppression of Muslims.

I know some folks in CAIR who hate Nihad Awad and Sarsour with passion and are nationalistic like us the problem is CAIR is part of the arm of the Democratic Party and in some ways the US state a new group can come out with a spilt I am not concerned and CAIR can kiss their a...ses bye and become irrelvent and new group better and more willing to play American politics in both wings of ideology and focus on geo-politics is better than kissing the liberal Soros backed groups and LGBTQ crap

Many conspiracy theorists in America and their followers, especially in the MAGA world, have an obsession with Muslim Brotherhood. They think that organization has infiltrated the US government.

When you explain them it only exists in Egypt as a social movement and has smaller presence in other countries, they won't believe you. Groups like Center for Security Policy, led by an Islamophobe named Frank Gaffney, has been running with this lie for over a decade now.

So this ban looks like will give ammunition to those that hold that view. For political dissidents in some Muslim countries, it won't be good as well as the govts in those countries will easily accuse them of being members of Muslim Brotherhood and throw them in dark places.
