The Trump administration is working to designate the Muslim Brotherhood a foreign terrorist organization, the White House said on Tuesday.

"The president has consulted with his national security team and leaders in the region who share his concern, and this designation is working its way through the internal process,” White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said in an email, according to Reuters.

You're not making sense here, MB is mostly a social movement that plays little role in politics. They are not politically influential in the ME region, they hold little power depending on country.

I don’t care about CAIR, but am worried about the consequences for American Muslims.

We would be rendered absolutely voiceless and therefore susceptible to more abuse by the state.

The game is not to ban CAIR, but to remove any obstacle to create an atmosphere of fear and oppression of Muslims.
