meh my RC helicopter was about the same size, though i will say this thing lasts for 11 mins while mine only lasted for 5 but mine was bought 5 years ago.

But everybody will recognize a helo for what it is long before they will recognize a robotic 'hummingbird' for what it is.

the thing they demonstrated is still a helo(not the cgi part) it would take all of 2 secs for one to realize no natural bird has wings that rotate around their body to fly

I suppose for outside use it's ok since people may mistaken for another lawn mower further down the street.
And also in noisy place like factories.

They'll probably work on the noise problem. Owls apparently achieve silent flight by "the filamentous extensions of their anterior barbules on their feathers" Whatever that is.

If they are going for this nature mimicry thing, they might want to try that. Always thought I should have majored in Engineering.

The CG shows the thing flying through a house not a busy airfield.
You should not take the noise to be a disqualifier. In an appropriate environment, it would be irrelevant, assuming the deployed product remain unchanged from the prototype, which we know is just about never the case.
