US & Turkey to train "rebels" in Syria

Loool U.K has much more jihadists than 'MUSLIM' Turkey? Who told you that Bros?so you think Turkey is much more safer than U.K? Lool  with all due respect turkey doesn't come close to U.K or any other central European country when it comes to internal peace and stability. For GOD'S(or Allah. Lol) sake, you are still fighting an internal war/separatist rebellion now for decades without any end in sight. Finish with the PKK first then we can talk .:enjoy:

As for your point abut comparing U.K with 'MUSLIM' Turkey, I don't understand why you stress MUSLIM, since there was no need to stress that(a simple Turkey will have Ben okay). Or are you by any means insinuating all Muslim ought to be terrorists, or that all terrorists are Muslims?o_O:cheesy:
Did i talked about the safety in UK? Or inner stability? How is pkk related to jihadists?

UK has a much smaller population not to mention even smaller muslim population than Turkey but sent more jihadist to Syria.
You indeed have more jihadists in UK be in the percentage of muslim population or absolute numbers.

Turkey has good relations with Iran as well. Russia is close to Armenia. These differences can be overcome.
Turkey has only good trade relation which isnt even always without problems, Turkey and Iran disagrees on everything else.

Its right he isnt lunatic like the other two but he isnt a angel either.

But all this doesnt matter anyway, Assad is on Russian and Iranian side hence he has to be removed and replaced by a pro western or at least neutral leader.

Yes I agree with you on this one. Our governments will do all they can to topple the Syrian government NO MATTER THE COST, so they can reduce /eliminate any Russian/Iranian influence in the country/region. Call it killing two birds with 1 Stone. Afterall, we have nothing much to lose since we never had much interests/investment in Syria to begin with (coupled with fact that Syria wasn't really aligned with west/U.S). So there you go. Interests always comes first in geo politics I must confess.:D I don't agree with our governments policies/actions in the region though(but that's another topic)

As for Turkey I fail to see what they are really trying to achieve. Lool :undecided:

Well then let me help you out, Turkey is equally interested in cutting Iranian influence in Syria just as west, not to mention that, no matter what Erdogan says in public, hes in the same boat as west.

Iraq is Shia dominated and puppet master of Syria. I don't see taking down Syria without first taking down Iraq. Sadr commands 20,000+ Mahdi Army fighters in southern Syria.

I think its allready too late to say this but dont be funny dude, you wanna tell me Iraq is a obstacle in taking down Syria?
Iraq is just another ''succesfully tamed'' country in the archives of Washington, its the future of Syria to be precise.

On the contrary, Iraq is in bed with Iran. Iraq is Shia. No way around it. Already, Iraq is importing Russian weapons. Americans pay taxpayer money for Iraqi weapons like F-16 jets and Abrams tanks. Fine. It's not Iraq's money :p:

That plan has backfired.
Because the relationship between Iran-Syria was previously a strategic alliance between 2 equal (more or less) partners.
With the entire West, Turkey and GCC trying to oust the Syrian government and Syria in this weakened state, it has changed the dynamics.
Syria now being surrounded with hostile states, it has made the nature of this relationship change dramatically. And made the pendulum in the power-balance in Syria-Iran axis swing heavily towards Tehran, as Syria is increasingly relying on Tehran (for military, diplomatic and economic support) than ever before.

It boggles my mind that you and the khaleeji arabs dont understand these dynamics. Cutting down Iranian influence in Syria? You achieved the exact opposite.

Read my previous comments about the time it will take to get rid of Assad, it might look shiny to you at the moment but what about 10 years later?

We are having a serious talk here, not everybody has to agree with you, dont get personal, either participate in a matured manner or leave it.
