US & Turkey to train "rebels" in Syria

If you want to have a glance at groups which have entered Syria from Turkey, just take a look at ISIS, Nusra and hundreds of Chechens and Uzbeks who have gone to Jihadi missions in Syria, all through Turkey.

And please don't tell me that you couldn't stop them from going to Syria. You managed to arrest and even kill too many Kurds who wanted to illegally go to Kobani to fight IS, but magically, others went to Syria without any difficulty. Of course we all know that it's in Erdogan's best interest to keep a blind eye on all those foreigners going there. After all, he has been waiting for 3.5 years to pray in Damascus mosque as he said himself.

I wonder what Erdogan is telling you guys that you have fell for this whole 'moderate' hoax. Just look at different fronts and see who is doing most of the fighting and having most of the success in Syria.

Mate, we talked and discussed this issue several times...

We apprehended numerous Jihadists but they still come from foreign lands to Turkey. And it's not easy to cut off the human-trafficking and smuggling over a night.

Even in Kobani numerous Kurds managed to get into Kobani via illegal ways...and that's a merely 10kms of border line. And we have 900 kms border with Syria.

There are villages near the border whom consists of smugglers. Check out the website of General Staff. We caught smugglers and trespassers every day. But it is very hard to cut off the whole issue.

They even built bridges, pipelines to smuggle oil.... know imagine how easy for just a group of 5 to trespass Turkey to Syria...

To deal with the issue. We tried to dig a trench along the border.

This time Kurds along the border, protested. Saying "Turkey wants to seperate Kurdish people". They attacked at the workers, mass protests in the cities. So, digging stopped...

On top of it these Jihadists comes Turkey from various countries....when we complain. Foreign countries says, we can't deny them of their liberty to travel based on suspicions. Only way to stop them, is to apprehend them while trying to get across the border. Although we caught many and shipped them back to their countries. So, it is not a valid argument that, Turkey supports Jihadists because they came via Turkey....

Turkey and Syria enemies for the next 1,000 years. Way to screw up, Erdogan.

Pandoras box is opened, nobody is going to give up in Syria, either western or eastern block will win, western block has much more ressources to spend here, even if they cant win they will extend the war as much as possible.
One thing is for sure, from western perspective Assad has to go, either by training rebells or other ways.

4 years is nothing, West has time they will wait patiently till the civil war destroys the country completely, do you remember why they didnt hesitate to bomb Gaddafi?
He was working on nuclear weapons (which he gave up later) and bombed civilian planes, what did the west do? Waited for decades, weakened him with sanctions, only a initial fire was needed and they bombed him to nirvana.
Compared to Gaddafi and Saddam, Assad is dying even faster if you ask me.

Syria is a pretty big place. Not possible to destroy. Heck, Germany was able to build thousands of Me 262 fighter jets in 1943 to 1945 despite daily heavy bombardment since 1940. Besides, Iraq provides the biggest regional support to Syria.

But all this doesnt matter anyway, Assad is on Russian and Iranian side hence he has to be removed and replaced by a pro western or at least neutral leader.

Dont compare it to Germany which already had a technological superiority, Iraq is even bigger than Syria, it doesnt really matter in 21st century warfare.

Turkey has good relations with Iran as well. Russia is close to Armenia. There's no reason why differences like this can't be overcome.
