US to open a "Virtual Embassy" in Iran

As per this news, Hilary Clinton has announced that US will be starting "A virtual Us Embassy in Iran" to offer embassy related information regarding Entry Visa and student exchange program and other Embassy related issues and services although there are no formal diplomatic relations between the two countries.

The Virtual Embassy will start to operate by the end of this year.

So will "Israel" follow suit and open virtual embassies for it in other countries which do not recognize "Israel". Also vice-verse for countries who want to have relations with "Israel" but do not want to have their embassy inside their territories for security public backlash reasons.

and what next? Virtual computer generated Ambassadors?
