US satellite confirmed: China's environmental protection improvement is far ahead of India

US satellites show that China's pollution is rapidly being reduced, while Indian pollution is rapidly increasing:
China is higher than India in terms of economic scale, industry category, high-end technology, urban environment, education level, etc., but there is another indicator that reflects China's development quality is higher than India: US satellite display from 2005 to 2016, China's Sulfur dioxide emissions have fallen by 75%, while India has increased by 50%.
In the past five years, the intensity of air pollution control in China has increased unprecedentedly. Compared with 2013, the average concentration of PM2.5 in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region decreased by 33% in 2016, the Yangtze River Delta region decreased by 31.3%, and the Pearl River Delta region decreased by 31.9%. At present, China's pollution has been mainly in the North China Plain area such as Hebei and Shandong.
A joint team of the University of Maryland and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), through analysis of satellite data, found that India overtook China and was promoted to the country with the largest emissions of human factors due to sulfur dioxide. The data comes from estimates of sulfur emissions from factories in China and India, power plants, automobiles and other sources, and ozone monitors on NASA's Ola satellite, which detect various atmospheric pollutants, including sulfur dioxide. In the past decade, China's coal consumption has increased by 50%, and power generation has increased by more than 100%, but sulfur emissions have fallen sharply, indicating that most of the emission reduction comes from controlling emissions.
The economy has developed, and money is the basis for pollution control. The development of pollution in China and India once again proves that environmental protection is really the road to pollution control. 美国马里兰大学和美国国家航空航天局(NASA)的一个联合团队,通过分析卫星数据发现,印度超越中国,晋升为二氧化硫人为因素排放量最大的国家。数据来自从中国和印度工厂、电厂、汽车及其它排放源的硫排放估算值,以及美国宇航局奥拉卫星上的臭氧监测仪,该仪器可以探测到各种大气污染物,包括二氧化硫。近十年来中国煤炭用量增加了50%,发电量增幅超100%,但硫排放却大幅下降,说明减排的大部分来自控制排放。
经济发展了,有钱了才是治理污染的基础。中印污染发展情况再一次验证环保还真是大部分是先污染后治理的道路。中国这十年经济发展很好,环保也改进,还减少超过一亿绝对贫困人口,真是很厉害的。
