As a person of color, when Obama came on the scene, I was glad. VERY GLAD. But halfway into the campaign and I recognized the man for what he is: A smooth talker. Nothing more. I know of a lot of people at work, of all skins, who now has "buyer's remorse". Serious regrrets. But right now, my feeling is that half of those people have too much emotional investment, aka idolatry, into Obama to vote their common sense. They would rather vote for him again and risk the republic's descent to socialism than to admit they phooked up.Going by the current trend, this should not be very difficult...
The 'Ricans voted to remain a US protectorate. We just need to look for the paperwork about Canada and Mexico in that giant warehouse out in Area 51.And the US is still a British Colony.![]()
Your example is that of a man, who stands in the rain & questions the existence of clouds....Could you please educate me how you can arrive at that conclusion based on a story about the discovery of new supplies in North America? I am sure your mental agility to make that connection would be impressive indeed.

What people should realize is that oil is plentiful, but the cost of producing it varies greatly. The reason Middle East oil has been exploited first, much to the financial advantage of the Arabs is that it has the lowest cost per barrel produced. With newer technologies, the cost to produce from other sources is coming down, but is still not as low as Middle East oil.
So, more cost effective resources are used first.
Second thing to keep in mind is that there are different types of crude oil. Some, like Venezuelan oil, are heavy and sulfur rich, which means more costs for refining. Middle East oil is called "light sweet crude" for the reason it is easy to refine and has fewer contaminants.
So, the better quality resources are used first.
Therefore, none of this is some scheme on the part of the US to steal anyone's oil.
Imitating me in a munchkin style, won't give any worthwhile credence to your bunk.... while you are like the man who thinks it is raining on him, but he is in a narrow street with balconies above him, and would like to believe it is only rain!
Coming back to the topic, please respond to this post:

If you can prove to me that Iraq & Libyan invasions are not for oil, then ill gladly reply to that subjective post of yours, till then it's nothing but a dogmatist rhetoric to prevaricate ground realities.
