Pakistanis have very short term memories.....what happens when US has 'successfully extricated' itself from the Afghan quagmire? It will be back to business as usual. We are living in fools paradise if you think the yanks will treat pakistan as equals or partners.....

All trump wants is to show the American ppl what he achieved and win the next election hence why they turn to pakistan as all roads lead to the Taliban. Once that is achieved it will be back to square 1.

1. Pakistan played a huge part in bringing China and USA to the negotiating table in the 60/70s we got nothing for it, pakistan got weapons but at the crucial time of war supplies were withheld.

2. Soviet/Afgan war 80-89. The defeat of the Soviets would not have been possible without Pak. The moment the war ended USA put sanctions on Pakistan via pressler amendment and F16 were withheld. We didnt learn our lesson.

3. War on terror 2001- immeasurable support from pakistan, Americans would have suffered tremendously without pak support, when American policy is failing they blame pakistan, withdraw weapons and CSF monies.

All in all the Yanks cant be trusted and all these posters jumping around have short term memories.

I always maintained after 9/11 musharraf could have got a massive amount more for Pakistan, in the end it was Pakistan that suffered the most for siding with the Yanks.

To help extricate them pakistan needs the US to offer MORE than what was previously done.

Why is this being called AID???

remember that USA was using our ports and our roads and our air space.

Objective of CSF is to reimburse coalition partners for logistical and military support to U.S. military operations.

In another word it is reimbursement of costs that we have incurred. Its refund of money we have spend or forgone thus it is rightly ours.

They will give us $9 billion aid and ask us to do more abd our lost will be tripls of what aid would be.
Once USA left we wi be left with more broken economg and condition.

Why not they allow $9.5 billion of pakistan export to US market? Every year we will get $9.5 billion extra and that would come from trade.
