Guys the US has Diego Garcia as a base in the Indian Ocean Southward of the tip of India.

They don't need a base in Bangladesh.

I would argue the US would love a presence in Bangladesh.

Considering the prospect of China using the Myanmar coast as an alternative to access Asia/Africa/Europe.

Diego Garcia is far far away.

Well yes - could be a possibility. Their proxy the Sanghis also have P-8 orions to do patrols. This is the reason India was allowed to have these airplanes.
