With the safe Crew Dragon landing Elon Musk's SpaceX has leaped passed everybody.

Exactly. A temporary advantage does not guarantee permanent advantage.

So far everything else is just vaporware. Nobody other than SpaceX has even announced anything that can carry dozens of people. Meanwhile SpaceX is publicly building/testing prototypes in front of live cameras.

Errrr. No. SpaceX crew capsule mass is only 13 tons.

When China's LM5 launched it's new generation space capsule it's mass was 21 tons.

Right now the heaviest payload launched into space by a SLV that is operational (not retired) is the LM5.

Read the headline again. That new China capsule has not been proven to safely transport people. SpaceX has been flying the Dragon for YEARS (2010!!) but always unmanned. This is the first time it has a proven manned ability instead of just theoretical.

The LM5 is only slightly more powerful than a SpaceX Falcon 9. It is nowhere close to a Falcon Heavy. So don't embarrass yourself mentioning it in the same sentence.

SpaceX: Falcon Heavy
Payload to LEO 63,800 kg (140,700 lb)
Payload to GTO 26,700 kg (58,900 lb)

US: Delta IV
Patload to LEO 28,790 kg (63,470 lb)
Payload to GTO 14,220 kg (31,350 lb)

Russia: Angara 5
Payload to LEO 24,500 kg (54,000 lb)
Payload to GTO 7,500 kg (16,500 lb)

China: Long March 5 (cz5)
Payload to LEO 23,000 kg (51,000 lb)
Payload to GTO 13,000 kg (29,000 lb)

SpaceX Falcon 9
Payload to LEO 22,800 kg (50,300 lb)
Payload to GTO 8,300 kg (18,300 lb)

Have Space X Falcon Heavy launch any payload greater than 20tons ? Just asking. No offense intended.

The single Falcon 9 routinely launches 15 metric tons of Starlink satellites.

The Falcon Heavy test sent his little 1.5 ton car passed the orbit of Mars.
It's capacity is 16.8 metric tons to Mars and 3.5 tons to Pluto.

Just keeping track of the world's heavy operational launcher. That is all. Nothing more nothing less.
Have a nice day :-).

Their spacecraft and 1st landing dates acknowledged in this thread.

However after 1966 they didn't do much.

First space station. First landing on another planet. First landing on Mars. First rover on the moon. Seems quite a roll after 1966.

The US only has first man on the moon, but it is considerably more risky because sending a man on such a mission could result in the death of the man.
