UNHRC vote on Rohingya: Bangladesh’s diplomatic failure exposed yet again

Japan and India did not pick any side. That’s the bottom line but China shamelessly sided with Myanmar. Bangladesh Government should take a note of it. I believe Bangladesh should be more careful on Chinese involvement on this issue.

The ineptitude of our foreign ministry officials can be only compared with BAF methinks.
Look at how Pakistan is highlighting Kashmir issue everywhere. Why aren't we doing the same with the Rohingya issue?
The simplest answer is that Kashmir is a recent issue dealing with India's action of removing Kashmir's special status just a couple months ago. It also helps that it's a contested area and both countries have nukes. The violence against the Rohingya occurred 2 years ago. Now things have (mostly) settled down.

Another good part is Myanmar is becoming isolated gradually worldwide. Only countries that use it as pimp supporting it or taking any position openly against it.

This is not surprising, especially with India and China. About Japan, IDK much so no comments.

Regarding Pak, credit to where it is due for bringing the resolution up. But dont forget, they also sold jets to Myanmar. However, I'd cut them a slack given the fact the JF Thunder is a joint China-Pak project. So there might have been pressure from China to sell it. I dont know. May be the Pakistanis can clarify further.

Moral of the story is, nobody is nobody's friend. We gotta take care of our shit and find trues allies instead of just 'friends' and 'strategic development partners'.
JF 17 thunder is a joint ventue with alot of help from China in initial stages n now in 2 seater n JF 17 block 3 . Engine is Russian . Pakistan didnt sell it to Mayanmar because it must be approved by ECNEC which till date only approved it to Nigeria i.e 3 n now Pakistan trying to sell it to Azerbaijan n tried to sell it to Srilanka in Past but never approved or considered about selling to Mayanmar . Super Mushak is 100 % Pakistani so we sold it to Turkey , Qatar , Nigeria , KSA , Iran but not to Mayanmar . U can check we never sold any millitary equipment to Mayanmar even small arms which we sell to many countries but JF 17 is a Joint venture ( China- Pakistan ) n Russian Engine .

Without a doubt, the Rohingyas have faced violence. The question is, why?
People shouldn't wear their faith on their sleeves. Learn to assimilate, and no one will bother you.
Create a different identity and act superior about it, and most people won't tolerate it well.

That sounds awesome. Rape and kill for being different.

Why do high caste Indians kill and rape low caste Indians? Is this also a case of lower caste Indians not assimilating?

Not common, but I will bite.
Casteist Indians are backward folk who refuse to move ahead with the times. Dinosaurs, mostly.
They will fade with time.

Burma is too important for east China to avoid strait of Malacca so their support is understandable. I don't know what's the reason behind Japan's behaviour.
You have already answered your question. Japan wants to neutralize China in MM as it is the last country on the map of Japan's imperial ambition during WWll.

Other nations will not open their hearts unless there is a war between BD and MM. The best is to use the Rohingya strength in Arakan. But, BD govt fears that it will cause Islamic radicalization even in BD.

Except Myanmar never enacted policies on what they could wear. They didn't do this for their other muslims in the country. Really there's a racial element to this as well.

Bandhudesh Bharat, strategic ally China once again showing their true colors.

Thanks to Pakistan & every other civilized countries who voted in favor of Bangladesh.

The rohingya issue is a lost cause. No one in Bangladesh really cares now about these people. People are now more busy with India. Also the rohingya crisis is receiving fewer highlights these days. It's better to include them in the offical census of Bangladesh like other ethnic groups like Bihari, Chakma, Marma etc.
