In a statement issued on 8 August, UN Secretary-General António Guterres said he had been following the situation in Jammu and Kashmir “with concern”, making an appeal for “maximum restraint”.
“The position of the United Nations on this region is governed by the Charter...and applicable Security Council resolutions”, said the statement. “The Secretary-General also recalls the 1972 Agreement on bilateral relations between India and Pakistan also known as the Simla Agreement, which states that the final status of Jammu and Kashmir is to be settled by peaceful means”, in accordance with the UN Charter.
Article dated 16th, statement on 8th. This is not the statement due to the meeting.

So, which Pakistani position is endorsed here, enlighten me regarding this propaganda, please.
Right now Kashmir is a 'problem' & none would like to touch it.
The only way to force P5 to address Kashmir issue is to raise issue to the level of 'crisis' that the entire world feel threatened.
The latest example is how Iran threatened to stop all the world's oil supply if US attacked Iran; thus raising the bar of threat so high that US had to conceded back in the last minutes; even after the fighter jets were on their way to attack Iran from air-craft carrier.
Exactly same is needed to be done in post-Article 370 era on Kashmir issue; raise it to the level of 'crisis'. Then the same P5 will be rushing in to stop Indian terrorism in Kashmir.
