Party of Regions and Communist Party were banned long ago. There are no pro-Russian parties in Ukraine. There are Western puppets and more or less neutral forces. But I suppose they will not take part in elections.

Without military intervention - not so much. Russia can continue supporting People Republics of Donbass - it will remind nationalists that they are not the only power in Ukraine.
I think Russia wll wait untill USA leave Ukraine and all Western puppets will go abroad or to jail. Another variant - Poroshenko starts full scale offensive and Russia response - free elections are held in South-Eastern regions and people vote to reunite with Russia.

Traitors are the sore point of Ukraine. I do not know what is wrong with them. May be they are to greedy and have no honor and dignity. Afterall, Ukrainians are part of the great Rus. It is a shame for them to sell their ancestors for dollars.
Elections should be in March. But Poroshenko has only 6% rating. He either cancel elections or try to start a war to increase rating.

You know Tovarish, most allies of former USSR feel the same. Ukraine to us is the same as Russia and we share strong ties with them all. To suddenly throw away one's culture and ancestry is downright terrible. I feel so bad for the common Ukrainians who are highly educated and are considered one of the prized demographics from the USSR days.

One puppet can ruin the beauty and potential of a superb nation.

Illiterate peasants from Western Ukraine came to power. They simply are too dumb to do something. It's like some Mexican peasants from mountains came to power in US.

Ukranians want to integrate with the EU. They do not realize all the issues with EU. The status quo is hopeless.
For Russia this is loss of yet another region from their sphere of influence.
