Ukraine's state-owned Ukrinmash to manufacture passive radiolocation system in cooperation with Turkey's Havelsan Hava Elektronik Sanayi

Ukrainian state-owned Ukrinmash company, which is a part of the military-industrial complex UkrOboronProm, have signed a deal with Turkish Havelsan Hava Elektronik Sanayi on joint manufacture of a passive radiolocation system.

The relevant agreement was reached during ‘Arms and Security' military exhibition, that is taking place in Kyiv, company's press office reports.

The manufacture process will be done at UkrOboronProm factories.

‘Today Ukraine and Turkey for the first time signed such an agreement, which supports cooperation between the two countries in the defense sphere. Cooperation with Turkey allows not only to receive a much more progressive product, but also opens new markets, in particular, among NATO members', Ukrinmash CEO Sergii Slusarenko said.

The deal between the companies followed a memorandum cooperation, struck by Ukrinmash and Havelsan in April, 2016.

The ‘Arms and Security' military exhibition kicked off in Kyiv on October 11. It is the annual International specialized exhibition of protection means, weapons, military and special equipment, dual-use technologies and goods.

State's largest weapon concern UkrOboronProm will present tactical unmanned multipurpose vehicle "Phantom", a new combat module "Doublet" along with many other weapons.

Head of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine Roman Nasirov and the Turkish delegation headed by Deputy Undersecretary of the Ministry of Customs and Trade Sezai Ucarmak have discussed the possibility of launching a joint pilot project of an electronic system of international road transportation (e-TIR) in Kyiv.

"The electronic system e-TIR provides exchange of electronic data between the national customs systems regarding international transit of goods in accordance with the provisions of the TIR Convention. For us this is one of the priorities for the coming years," Nasirov said.

He said the parties agreed to establish a working group that will assess the possibilities of Ukraine and Turkey to launch the system.

In addition, the parties agreed to expand cooperation in exchange of experience and training in the field of canine, exchange of information and the fight against smuggling and violation of customs rules.

In addition, Turkish representatives expressed readiness to provide Ukraine with all the necessary assistance and support in the framework of implementation of the New Computerized Transit System (NCTS)

Ukraine has joined NATO.

No friend, Ukraine never . It would be a war declaration against Russia.

"
The most recent new members, Albania and Croatia, joined on 1 April 2009, prior to the 2009 Strasbourg–Kehl summit.
In 2011, NATO officially recognized four aspiring members: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Macedonia, and Montenegro. Macedonia has been prevented from joining the alliance by Greece, one effect of the Macedonian naming dispute, while Montenegro's membership is in the process of being ratified by current members. Future expansion is currently a topic of debate in several countries outside the alliance, and countries like Sweden, Finland and Serbia have open political debate on the topic of membership, while in countries like Ukraine, support and opposition to membership is tied to ethnic and nationalist ideologies. The incorporation of countries formerly in the Eastern Bloc has been a cause of increased tension between NATO countries and Russia"

Ukraine left CSTO in 2008 which was around the Georgian war and from that time only Ukraine become closer to United States .

In February 2014, Ukraine established a new Commission for NATO-Ukraine cooperation chaired by the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine.

The NATO Representation to Ukraine supports cooperation on the ground. It consists of the NATO Information and Documentation Centre, established in 1997 to support efforts to inform the public about NATO’s activities and the benefits of NATO-Ukraine cooperation, and the NATO Liaison Office, established in 1999 to facilitate Ukraine’s participation in NATO’s Partnership for Peace programme and to support its defence and security sector reform efforts by liaising with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Defence, National Security and Defence Council, and other Ukrainian agencies.

If Ukraine joined NATO, It would lose half of country.
They had started talking with EU , Russia occupied the Crimiea and war started in DonBass.
They cant even take weapons from NATO countries. Russia is waiting for another strike.
II cant imagine if NATO SAM batteries based on Ukraine near the Russian border:)

Occupation of Crimea and Eastern Ukraine made the entry of Ukraine in NATO and EU.

Actually its the NATO members of Eastern Europe needs Ukraine most than Ukraine needs them.

Turkey, Germany and Ukraine along with United States and Canada are fighting
