Who says Emiratis are happy and content? Can any Emirati openly criticize their 'kings' or 'royals'? Can any Emirati openly criticize their royals decisions to allow prostitution in Dubai? Do Emiratis accept such practises (I know in Jordan your king also permits that)?

I have never met a person from UAE dislikes his regime. They are fulfilled with their lives. They live a life, westerners wouldn't dream of. they are treated like kings in their country and everywhere. For Jordan, just yesterday, a group of people in Southern Jordan were shouting down down king Abdullah and the police were escorting them.

If you think non Emiratis should not bother about Emirati kings' decisions, then the same question could be asked to you. Who are you as a Jordanian to defend Emirati kings on an internet forum? Who are Saudi Arabians to defend Emiratis on an internet forum? You are still divided by petty tribal kingdoms, artificial borders and desert rivalries.

The arabs were not and aren't any influential civilisation (you have the single commodity that candictate world policy and bring anyone to their knees but you still rely on others for the majority ofthings and can't influence your own foreign policy at the behest of the west).

Civilisations are those such as the indus valley civilisation. You are mixing up arabism with islam here son. It is islam that influenced our history, name, dress etc not arabs. although the prophet (pbuh) was an arab the influence you talk about is from the almighty. The greatest caliphates had influences from other ethnicities i.e. turks/persians. If we were to be influenced by your arabs traditions we would still be burying our daughters hence islam is what influenced arabs and us not your so called civilisation.
