Two killed in acts of violence in Karachi

KARACHI: Two people were killed in different incidents in the metropolis on Friday.

An elderly man was shot dead at his shop within the limits of North Nazimabad police station. The incident took place in North Nazimabad near Ziauddin Hospital, where unidentified armed men, riding a motorcycle, opened fire at Sajadia Furniture Shop, resultantly 70-year-old Ghulam Hussain received a bullet in his head and died on the spot.

SHO Malik Ayub said the victim was the resident of same area where the incident took place and he belonged to Shia sect. He said police suspected that the sectarian issue could be motive behind the incident. He said that the victim’s son works as volunteer in scouts.

these are terrorist they show up at a place , kills people and off they go ... its hard in a bustling metropolis of 20 million people to figure out where the fire is coming from

Had you seen the video, the forces were standing at the green area, while at the street , cars were running, and firing was going on, and the polcie was just staring.

Could have been done. Enough is enough now.

Rangers and Police are given orders to not do anything. Ask any one in Orangi and they will tell you that Rangers and Police just stand when target killers are killing people right in front of them.

کراچی، صوبائی وزیر داخلہ منظور وسان کا کہنا ہے کہ کراچی میں نمائش چورنگی کے واقعے کے بعد قانون نافذ کرنے والے اداروں نے موثر کارروائی کرتے ہوئے اب تک 48 افراد کو گرفتار کر لیا ہے جبکہ ان سے اسلحہ بھی برآمد ہوا ہے۔

میڈیا سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے انھوں نے کہا کہ گزشتہ روز ہی امن وامان کے حوالے سے کراچی میں تمام اسٹیک ہولڈرز سے ملاقات کر چکے تھے اور پولیس اور رینجرز کو فول پروف انتظامات کرنے کی ہدایت کی تھی۔

تاہم اسکے باوجود یہ افسوس ناک صورتحال پیدا ہوئی جس کے تدارک کے لیے مزید انتظامات کیے جارہے ہیں، جلد ہی صورتحال بہتر ہو جائے گی۔

Those were protesters , if rangers or police will fire on them .. it will trigger riots not supress it
